My turkey wings were great and full of flavor. My cabbage not so much. It tasted like they're was no seasoning at on the cabbage. The mac and cheese could've been a little better but it wasn't that bad. My husband's friend chicken was very delicious and his yams were also good. I would definitely try this place again.

I ordered with them on too good to go at and they told me to come at 9 o’clock to 915 and when I arrived they were closed and no one even called me to check and see if I was on my way or nothing so basically they stole money from me and had lack of communication. Do not order from here on too good to go.
Food is amazing! Great cake too!

Man, such a disappointment when you try certain black owned establishments and they dont live up to the expectation. I'll keep it simple and short...food is just not good. Got a few platters last week, most of the food on all of our plates ended up in the trash, we gave the dog the rice. The staff are nice though and the place seemed cleaned/well kept.

I don't want to be that person that give a low rating, so I'll still give 4 stars. I visited the restaurant for the first time in over 10 years. I just remembered that I enjoyed the chicken breast sandwich last time( I usually hate fried chicken breast because people overcook it). I ordered the chicken breast sandwich today and it costed close to $12 for it😑. Mind you they have menus with no prices so I was kinda surprised by the price. I got to the car and there was a band wing and a small overcooked chicken breast! I'm super disappointed because I was really looking forward to that sandwich. Hopefully next time is better. I'll give them another chance since I unintentionally went within 30mins to closing. Idk I guess we'll see! I know I used to love the banana pudding too so I'll probably try that again too to see if it's still good.

Ordered smothered turkey chops mac and cheese and stuffing alomgside a side of potato salad the smothered turkey chops were good just wish they were more tender the mac was basic to be honest i feel like it could have been seasoned more the stuffing is pretty good and the potato salad is a bit too sweet for me

Amazing food that tastes like actual soul food from the south. As a Southerner visiting, I have been disappointed with Soulfood restaurants not getting it right but this one most certainly does!

Absolutely delicious! I tend to get grilled salmon which is cooked well and healthy, not swimming in grease all the sides I have had have been very tasty.
It usually takes them longer than they say for the food to be ready so chill on leaving if you call ahead or order at the counter.

Lovely sweet people.
Food is good.
Service is partially slow, but you can't rush good food.
Items that I had baked turkey wings (, mac n cheese, sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes with gravy, and dressing. All were good. They need to serve a bread. My bestfriend had the fried fish and it was soooo good. I wouldn't recommend the greens...they were missing something besides hot sauce.
Great to see a black owned and operated place thriving. Im from Indiana and I will be back.
Tips: It's a takeout kind of spot...there's 2 tables, but not much room. They take cards. Not much parking
