Brisket and baked chicken are completely dry with sauce and other things to cover it up the Mac and cheese balls were doughy, under cooked and fell apart. In other words this meal was unfixable.

I ordered half slab or ribs & half BBQ chicken. Let me say, the ribs and chicken were horrible & this isnt the first time ive had horrible food here. This is my ABSOLUTE LAST tine here!

Under whelming is the best way to describe this place. I had the brisket and chicken empanadas. Both were not worth my time or money. 1. Everything is al carted, so be prepared to pay the price to eat here. 2. The food is simply not seasoned to perfection. I had brisket. It was tender, but that's it. No flavors at all. 3. The price for such small portions is crazy.... I had high hopes in finding a great bbq spot close to my house. After eating here, I still haven't found it. This place is overpriced and you definitely won't be visiting flavortown. I've been looking for a bbq place to visit on a regular basis and dekes fail the test. If you want meh it's ok food and good beer don't come here if you are looking to be wowed by the food this is NOT the place to go. They should not be comparing themselves to Texas bbq because they aren't even close to hitting that level. Overall, I say go here for a game. Have some beer, and don't expect the food to be amazing. You will have a good time for sure. If you are craving bbq and want good food. Keep searching they don't have it here. You're better off going to Angry Deekin's or Sweet Lucy's

Food isn't that good. It's overly sweet and they put the same seasoning on everything. Meat is often dry. The Mac and Cheese is good, so are the Mac and Cheese balls and the pierogis. Fries are never crispy and always cold, chicken tenders are never crispy, the batter is not good and falls off all the time, and you only get two which for how expensive they are is crazy. Can't speak to the service, because I have always done take out, but if you're going to be spending this much money for dinner than I don't recommend.

It truly breaks my heart to see people hating on Dekes, they run a good business.

Their food is good and they brought a direly needed investment to a space and neighborhood that really needed it.

I HIGHLY recommend the Fat Dude Sandwich, Collard Greens, and Mac and Cheese.

Have it with some bourbon and you'll be in BBQ heaven.

Well, every time I drive by the Germantown location. There’s always a crowd. So I googled ribs near me and Deke’s popped up. So I decided to give them a try. I was pleasantly surprised the ribs were tender and well seasoned with plenty of flavor and worth every penny. They were scrumptiously delicious. I will definitely be back. Potato wedges were good. And I didn’t try the Shells and cheese. I would’ve loved to take a picture maybe next time.

Ordinary low key food but the atmosphere, the vibe and the friendly staff will keep you coming back. I love the diversity of the crowd and how they have different "cultural " selection of vendors that they rotate.

Parking: Small parking lot then street parking. Rumor has it that they may be allowed to share wayne mills parking lot soon but I'm not sure.
