Del Frisco's Double Eagle Steakhouse

Our server and the food were extraordinarily good! My friend was from out of town and it was her first time at Double Eagle. She loved the whole experience! It couldn't have been a better evening! Another example of why this is my go to when downtown and showing some a good time!

Our 36 year anniversary celebration and very disappointed. My daughter took me here last year for my birthday and was 4+ so decided its was the place to go for our special night. Apps were waygu meatballs, okay, her crab cakes not great. Caesar salad was brown. I ordered 45 day aged strip. Cooked medium. It showed up the very small ribeye. Waiter apologized blaming himself no biggie I said as he reordered. It arrived long after my wife was finished. Still no big deal until I cut into correct steak which I had to saw through. A 1 1/2” thick strip which had gray overcooked 1/4” exterior that was tough as beef jerky with absolutely raw ice cold center. Not waiters fault he was fantastic. Obviously unskilled chef on steaks that day. My wife's file was below average. Very disappointed as I live in NJ had to drive to Philadelphia and pay $30 parking to treat my wife to a special night. I got her the gift card that actually included an extra $50 for amount I got and honestly will probably now never use it.

This place was amazing, the only thing is we had a reservation & still had to wait close to 30-35 minutes to be seated. Other than the wait time on top of our reservation, the service & food was outstanding!

Steaks were perfectly cooked and everything was amazing. But if you're spending 400-500 you shouldn't have to pay extra for 2 servings of bread. Insane

We had a amazing time here the food was delicious and our waitress was one of the best i have ever had she was so nice and socialable recommend this place to anyone looking for great atmosphere annd great service and food, definately will be returning!!

I had a great dinner. But my husband and I were very disappointed that there were no large lobster which was what we waited to come for on our date night out. This was our second visit mainly because of it. He did however settled for 2 4oz lobsters. He said it was good. Next time we will call ahead and ask, had no idea a restaurant could run out of food they served. Our waitress Erika was great. Very attentive, friendly and helpful with explaining the menu. Thank you Erika for your help.

First of all, GABRIELLE WAS AMAZING! Even if the food was just meh (which it wasn't) her service was over the top! Now I'm not the “keep checking me me type” and she kind of left us alone while we ate which I deeply appreciated- nothing more aggravating than someone constantly interrupting your conversation! The food was super flavorful and the portions were wow! My husband even boxed up his food to take home. All steakhouses are NOT created equal and I've dined at a lot that were considered top tier. Even with the more expensive price, Del Frisco's has created a customer for life.

Great food, very nice location. We were there to celebrate a birthday. Excellent service. The only thing that I have to mention, not very positive is the volume of the music, too high.

Food was wonderful. Wish the server had mentioned the sides were family-style as we overheard from another server after we had rcvd our food. Feel like she was jacking up our tab for a higher tip. One of the sides, roasted broccolini, was too much for one person. Gorgeous space and will try to come bk when in Philly, hoping for an even better experience so I can give a 5.

Food and atmosphere was wonderful. I was there with my wife and son looking at colleges and we had a gift card for Del Friscos that we had been saving. When we tried to pay the server said they didnt take the card, even though they 100% should have, I used points from my cc to actually buy it. When I looked at the card after, the server or someone had mangled the last four numbers so bad when scratching the back, its unusable. Lost $200, so very unhappy about that.

Looked a little sloppy this time around but food is consistently so good. Dessert (hibiscus cheesecake) a little disappointing. Not creamy enough and too sweet. I have had amazing cheesecakes here in the pass.

My friends and I had a wonderful time at Del Frisco's Friday 9/20/24. The food was delicious and the portions were generous. Lastly our waiter was the best. We will definitely be back.

We were approached upon entry by Shane, who told our son he may not be able to dine at the establishment because of his pants, which were a navy golf pant. We were made to feel self conscience and embarrassed while your staff deemed our attire appropriate or not, women in dresses - not risky or tight like your other clientele. It was beyond ridiculous that our son was approached as we watched people come and go from the restaurant with cargo shorts, women with half shirts. It made our night out to celebrate our sons 22 birthday a waste of money, because for the first hour of our dinner all we could talk about how we were spoken to in such disdain as if we were wearing something in appropriate. Shane was abrupt and rude to us as well as continued to talk about us while standing right next to him. Maybe he wanted to feel superior to our young adult that he thought he could be so rude. We have dined here over the last few years for our son's birthday and the clientele of this restaurant dress far more risky than a navy golf pant, not sure how this isn't appropriate attire.

This was the absolute best dining experience So much better than Ocean Prime This was my second time this week I insisted on being serviced by a young handsome man from Point Breeze by the name of Gabriel aka Gab He was so very professional as well as charming It was a pleasure being in his company You are so very. fortunate to have him on your Staff I look forward to my return Best
