I love that people come on here and complain about the owner. Yup-He is short with folks ... but only bc he isn't trying to make a federal case out of your lunch. I'm happy he expects an adult to be able to convey what they want him to make QUICKLY!!! Lots of hurt feelings. Sad the world has become a bunch of idiots that can't do basic things correctly only to turn into a 5 year once someone makes it clear they're being a dope.
If you know....Owner reminds you of a particular Seinfeld character hahaha.

The worst experience ever, super rude argumentive all over a question of how my eggs were to be cooked. Super cold enviorment and the workers werer miserable. Ordering was confusing, store was sterile awkward and unprofessional. I was engaged aggressively and unprofessionally because I asked for over easy eggs. The owner stared at me raised his voice and angrily said fried hard or sunny side up. I asked for a quick flip and he said no. He made no effort to not make this awkward. He just wanted to argue and be disrespful. I just walked out and went on with my day. I understand people have bad days but these people choose the wrong career. It’s ashame because the location is fantastic. The crazy thing is both employees working were the owners and equally miserable. Time to sell to someone who appreciates good customers. The best is how they responded to the review accusing me of yelling. The only person yelling was the miserable cook.

Great mom-and-pop place inside this beautiful building. The food was fresh and made to order. Very generous portions, unlike other breakfast places I’ve tried nearby. Just good food. This will be my go-to place for sure.

Superb food — really a hidden gem of the neighborhood. The quality and quantity of food you get is unbeatable. Frankly, they should charge a lot more than they do! The eggplant parm is delicious, and the breakfast sandwiches are a treat. We've also used them for catering in the past and it was great. Strongly recommended.

Vegetarian options: The eggplant parm is delicious. Also, vegetarian breakfast sandwiches! They're super wiling to customize things for you, too.

The food here isn’t that good at all, The service is terrible. The guy here is so rude and disrespectful. He catches attitudes with the customers and rushes them when ordering. The lady at the cashier is always talking trash about the customers in the store. Their attitudes are digusting. You can’t even get forks or napkins or condiments without buying something . Not to mention it takes 30 mins to make one sandwitch.

I am absolutely appalled by how EXTREMELY RUDE the cook/husband/owner is.It was my first time ordering food from this establishment so I was unaware how the ordering process worked. There was no clear signage that food orders were to be placed with the man instead of the lady at the cash register. So in confusion, I stood there idly. The man looks at me and aggressively goes, “ARE YOU ORDERING FOOD? ARE YOU READY TO ORDER?”I repeat back what he said, just so I could make sure I understood what he said correctly. The man replies, “YES. THAT IS WHAT I AM ASKING YOU. I AM ASKING YOU IF YOU ARE ORDERING FOOD AND IF YOU ARE READY TO ORDER FOOD. WHAT DO YOU WANT.”I reply back to him, “Yes, I would like to order food please. I apologize, I have never been here before. It is my first time.” Then I proceeded to order a sandwich. The man goes, “WHAT KIND OF BREAD DO YOU WANT?”I simply and politely asked what kind of bread they had. And the man disgustingly with great disdain pointed his fingers down to the bread options on the counter which I had not seen at first.I continued to be polite even though I was very taken aback by the man’s horrendously rude attitude. While I was waiting for my sandwich, he suddenly asked me who I worked for in the building. I answered. He all of a sudden decided to become SLIGHTLY friendlier.I left. I will not be back again. And I sure don’t recommend anyone coming here unless they want to be treated like a complete imbecile.I was shocked (…but not really) to find that other customers/reviewers also had a terrible experience with this rude, rude man.Take your money elsewhere. The sandwich was fine, fresh ingredients and good portion size but it surely was not worth dealing with that miserable human.

This place is all around RUDE. I asked the cook some questions and he barely looked up from his phone and was just yelling out yes or no to my questions. I asked if i could sample the soup and was rudely told NO. Then i asked for another pack of Crackers for the soup and the cashier said only one, i don't have a lot. WHAT ! I was surprised to see a black man working in the back. I think their racist.

Absolutely delicious food — huge portions, and great quality. This is a hidden gem. I work nearby so I'm lucky to get to visit often, but it would also be the best possible place for visitors to the nearby museums and parks to stop for lunch with a family!
