I haven't been here since the pandemic began. The food was good - typical of Center City casual lunch places. Burger was very good, so were the fries. Got to say the Wings appetizer with the dry rub used to be incredible.. Sometimes we'd go there just for the wings. But now, they were meh. Perhaps it is just me, but they just seemed kinda uninteresting.

Service was average - what id expect for that kind of place. Again, nothing amazing.

In summary, it is fine. Nothing to brag about but good enough to go back to.

Rude staff, would not recommend. I have a disability that is recognized by many states that allow me to use a restroom in case of a medical emergency. The legislation “allys law” was enacted to protect people with my type of disabilities, when I asked politely if I can use their bathroom, the staff members refused citing that the restrooms were for customers only repeatedly despite me presenting my legal disability documentation.

They should be ashamed of themselves, I had to end my night early and head home as there were no other places with a bathroom due to the pain I was having as a result of not being able to use their bathroom. If this law was enacted in PA this place would have been fined.

Brisket grilled cheese is out of this world , grilled chicken with spicy rub is amazing ! The crispy skin with the rub is delicious . Our server John single handedly covered the patio and main seating area , without missing a beat . Which made for a tremendous experience .

Our large group kind of overwhelmed the bartenders at first, but they were cheerful and engaging!

One of the few spots that actually cooks a burger truly medium rare. Fries are really good too!

Atmosphere was great, great crew and the food was awesome! All 4 of us loved our food. The chorizo burger, brisket grilled cheese and bang bang tacos were awesome. Thank you!!!-EDIT: we ended up going the next day for brunch and equally as great. The potatoes are killer! The omelette was the best I have ever tasted!

Expected more from a Philly cheese steak egg roll in the land of Philly cheese steaks, especially for $6. The Portobello mushroom burger wasn't great either. The wait staff was okay but not very attentive. Can't say I would recommend this place to anyone.

Yall I’ve only been in Philly for 16 hours. This is my humbuck stop cause I parked my car right in front of the restaurant. So glad I did!! Oh Fernando was amazing!! Not only did he give a first timer in all the scoop but he was such an amazing server. And my food “ shrimp and grits’ that’s a must order again was fire fire. Just gonna say if you come this way to central Philly then make sure you stop in and ask for Fernando! 10/10 all the way around. Loving “Devil Alley”for sure

The downstairs floor was pretty empty when we came in, maybe there was more going on upstairs. We (2 adults and an 8yo) ordered the BBQ Sample Platter, the Brisket Grilled Cheese and the cucumber salad to share. As it turns out, this was precisely the right thing: everything was delicious and we could almost finish it. The grilled cheese is fantastic. The ribs are incredibly tender. Oh, and the brisket slider! Yummm! And all this at a reasonable price!

We had the BBQ sampler and the brisket grilled cheese. Whatever genius came up with that sandwich deserves a serious raise. It was one of the tastiest grilled cheeses I’ve ever had!! The just to dip made it somehow even better. The sampler platter was extremely generous- the spicy corn ribs we a delight (but eat them fast, they got a bit soggy as they cooled). The beans were sweet & savory. The ribs melted in the mouth.
Great meal.

We went on a weekday at 6pm (within the happy hour window) and I ordered a sangria off the happy hour menu. I was charged full price for it, and when I asked our waiter about it and pointed out the happy hour menu, she just said "Oh yeah we're not doing that"
