The prices are wayyy too high.
Went in this place for some eggs and two breakfast sausages and two small cups of orange juice they charged me $18.00...I was so hungry I excepted it but I won't go back. People they ripping yall off in there with them reaching to the ceiling for the prices...the food ain't that great anyway. ?
Starting off, not being properly greeted. Then, the sandwich wasn't properly wrapped in the aluminum paper. The sandwich leaked and went all over my bookbag. When I called them, they showed me pure disrespect and the asian lady making sandwiches is the rudest. How do they operate like this?

I wished I had looked at the reviews before giving this place a second chance. Like others have said the place is overpriced and the workers are rude and lack basic customer service etiquette. Twice in a span of a year I have ordered an egg crossaint sandwich ( I would say each time the sandwich was pretty good at least ). The price would be posted as for example $8 on the menu and then you go to the register you are charged $10. When asked why and even show that the menu ( that is printed and posted on the walls) say $8 you basically get a shrug and a nonchalant look short of an eyeroll. This place is simply just taking advantage of the fact that they are conveniently located for all us hard workers who are looking for a quick meal. Sad

The price-quality ratio of the breakfast is right. The bagel was successful, the cappuccino comes from the machine (too hot). Orange juice is good.

My sandwiches were pretty good. Surprised at the bad reviews. Though maybe its been better recently. It is expensive ish for a deli.
Terrible service. Perfect if you want cold soup.
I was handed a soup container that was leaking through the lid. The employee didn’t even have utensils set up for lunch, he used tongs ? To dish out some sour cream. $12 for a SMALL soup and iced tea is not worth it

Extremely overpriced
I bought a scone this morning, took one bite and thought it was awful. Took it out of the bag and turns out it had mold on it. Do not buy pastries from here.

WARNING: be careful as you're chewing the sandwich. You might experience some dirt or sand in it and they will not care.I just bought a hummus and avocado sandwich along with vegetarian chili. My almost last bite of the sandwich as I was chewing it. I felt like I was eating sand.I told the manager lady and she gave me a completely crazy response. She said well that hasn't happened with any of the other customers. That doesn't matter.Obviously there's dirt or sand getting in there somehow.Telling me that other people haven't is a stupid response.I'm your customer right now and I just experienced distress from eating sand in your sandwich.I paid 10 bucks for a sandwich and you tell me basically "So what? Other people have not had this happen to them...."Maybe they just don't tell you because they've already walked away and are eating the sandwich in the office.Maybe they just haven't told you because they spit it out and they don't care untiyou because it's not important to them. I was trying to help you and it wasn't seeking any compensation.Better customer service would be to take my concern seriously and say:oh, I am so sorry that happened. I will personally look into it.Is there some thing I can give you like a treat or cookie or one of the desserts to make it up to you?But sadly she lost an opportunity to have a repeat customer....So WARNING: be careful as you're chewing the sandwich. You might experience some dirt or sand in it and they will not care.
I would regularly go to D&B for soup or salad for lunch. I went in last week to buy some muffins and bagels and carton of coffee for a meeting at my office. They refused, despite my asking, to allow me to take one of their "lunch" boxes to put the food in to sit on a conference table. They wanted me to use a brown paper bag and when I asked for a box, the employee went to the back and brought out a used cardboard container. I asked again for the "normal" lunch box to fit the 6-8 muffins/bagels and she said "no - they're only for lunch." Terrible customer service. I walked out and went elsewhere. I will never go back and have told everyone in my office NOT to go there given their rude behavior.
Passed here everyday and always wanted to try it. It's straight up terrible. WAY too expensive, and the workers are not nice. The lines and system of ordering is unreal. Waited in a crowded space for 15+ minutes just to get a very cold, soggy Chicken Milanese sandwich. Two sandwiches, and two small soups were more than $50. WHAT?! To equate it to something else, this was worse than any airport food I've ever had. And why was it so expensive? Don't waste your time coming here. The guy with the food cart outside is probably a better call...
