Totally OVERPRICED and the food is not even worth it. Paid $8.59 for bacon and egg on a bagel. Eggs were bland bacon overcooked. Crazy that NY prices are cheaper, bigger city and better food for cheaper!

I bought a scone this morning, took one bite and thought it was awful. Took it out of the bag and turns out it had mold on it. Do not buy pastries from here.

WARNING: be careful as you're chewing the sandwich. You might experience some dirt or sand in it and they will not care.I just bought a hummus and avocado sandwich along with vegetarian chili. My almost last bite of the sandwich as I was chewing it. I felt like I was eating sand.I told the manager lady and she gave me a completely crazy response. She said well that hasn't happened with any of the other customers. That doesn't matter.Obviously there's dirt or sand getting in there somehow.Telling me that other people haven't is a stupid response.I'm your customer right now and I just experienced distress from eating sand in your sandwich.I paid 10 bucks for a sandwich and you tell me basically "So what? Other people have not had this happen to them...."Maybe they just don't tell you because they've already walked away and are eating the sandwich in the office.Maybe they just haven't told you because they spit it out and they don't care untiyou because it's not important to them. I was trying to help you and it wasn't seeking any compensation.Better customer service would be to take my concern seriously and say:oh, I am so sorry that happened. I will personally look into it.Is there some thing I can give you like a treat or cookie or one of the desserts to make it up to you?But sadly she lost an opportunity to have a repeat customer....So WARNING: be careful as you're chewing the sandwich. You might experience some dirt or sand in it and they will not care.

I would regularly go to D&B for soup or salad for lunch. I went in last week to buy some muffins and bagels and carton of coffee for a meeting at my office. They refused, despite my asking, to allow me to take one of their "lunch" boxes to put the food in to sit on a conference table. They wanted me to use a brown paper bag and when I asked for a box, the employee went to the back and brought out a used cardboard container. I asked again for the "normal" lunch box to fit the 6-8 muffins/bagels and she said "no - they're only for lunch." Terrible customer service. I walked out and went elsewhere. I will never go back and have told everyone in my office NOT to go there given their rude behavior.

Passed here everyday and always wanted to try it. It's straight up terrible. WAY too expensive, and the workers are not nice. The lines and system of ordering is unreal. Waited in a crowded space for 15+ minutes just to get a very cold, soggy Chicken Milanese sandwich. Two sandwiches, and two small soups were more than $50. WHAT?! To equate it to something else, this was worse than any airport food I've ever had. And why was it so expensive? Don't waste your time coming here. The guy with the food cart outside is probably a better call...

Way over priced.Got 2 small soups and small tuna salad (just tuna).Cost more that $25. Thought I heard wrong. No receipt. Found out all this when I got home. Salad stuff looked good. Maybe I get 1 if I feel like spending the money.Parking: Don't drive if you plan on dining in. No parking.

This place I will never go again. I have gotten sick more than once. My meal was extremely salty and tasted like chicken out of a can. It was horrible. The service is so bad and the employees/manager is not friendly at all.

This establishment should be absolutely ashamed of themselves. The prices are insanely overpriced. You will pay over $15 for a bowl of salad. You will pay $12 for a tiny bowl of crusty soup that they saved from the day before. You want a premade dried out sandwich come here and pay out the a*** The owners should seriously get over themselves! ITS CHEAPER TO GO TO DI BRUNOS, and they are so so so so much tastierI regret ever giving them my money and you shouldn't either.!!!

WAY overpriced. Love the soups and sandwiches, but $7 for a small soup, and add a sandwich to that and it’s $20. Can get a sandwich a block down the street at Bain’s Deli for $7 with far more on the sandwich. Would go nearly everyday if it weren’t for the prices.Wish they listed the soups each day online. Some days it’s 12+ soups and a great selection, some days it’s a half of that. Hate having to walk there to find I’m not interested in any of the options that day.

First and last time here. Saw this spot while walking to the office and decided to give it a try. Walked in and asked for a menu to which I was pointed to a wall.. grab one and ordered a breakfast wrap. Price $4.95, once I was rang up noticed the wrap was way more $7.02 to be exact. When asked the difference, I was informed their prices are subjected to change and that breakfast had a different price than what was on the menu. A simple wrap mind you! Make matters worst the wrap was over filled with eggs that I literally could have made 3 more. Save yourself and take the walk to old Nelson around the corner.

This place is over priced with tasteless food, very bad coffee just all around terrible. Today, I went to buy half a wrap and THEIR machines did not work, they did not communicate this and started to write down my credit card number to punch in later I asked her what she was doing and said no do not did that took my card and left.

Great food but I will not be returning until the store enforces a mask mandate. I was in there today and several customers were not wearing masks and no employee said anything.

I've been going to D&B as a convenient location across the street from my office for the past 6 years. I've always found the quality of their soups, sandwiches, and salads very good. They also offer breakfast items which I've not yet tried but have heard good things about. The food has never been inexpensive but their prices have soared over the past few years and even more-so recently. A large soup and 1/2 sandwich can easily run ever $16. That's HALF a sandwich, mind you. If I got the whole sandwich, I'd be paying around $20. That's crazy. I say this knowing full well that costs for the food ingredients that restaurant purchase is up for them just just like it is for consumers at grocery stores and so I do expect this will be reflected by higher prices. Even considering this, I think the amount charged is way over the top. Also as mentioned elsewhere, the staff is generally unfriendly. Pick a line - soups, salads, or sandwiches. It's the same just about every time I've gone there over many years. Rather morose attitudes. A little better at the cashier side but not by a lot.As it stands, I plan to go to D&B only when I'm extremely pressed for time and need to get something quick. Otherwise, I have lots of other great food choices in the city at better prices and at least sometimes, friendlier service. Too bad.
