Loved this place. I heard that it may be closing. Great food and atmosphere for traditional good diner food.

Comfort food at its absolute best. We ordered breakfast. Omlette out of this world! Made to order homemade hashbrown - to dye for! Mammoth light and fluffy pancakes grilled to perfection. Young adult owners and staff are friendly and provide excellent service. Love the old time diner feel of the restaurant. Clean and welcoming place. Perfect location, across the street from Church. A must stop in after Holy Mass. May God watch over the young adult owners that made this a wonderful diner to eat in.

Poor service breakfast pancakes were horrible had the nerve to deliver trash. Place needs to be shut down or bring back the real people who cared about their business and customers. Raised priced, staff is horrible and so is the food.

While the price is right, as a diner, this place has its ups and downs. Service is always a touch awkard and delayed, coffee and grits are watery, but the portions on everything are good. They have a small but varied menu, and I was able to add banana to my waffle once (I do think the pancakes and waffles are the best part of the menu!) I enjoy the home fries as well. Cash only with the ATM on site. Nice to have in the neighborhood when I'm feeling lazy, but it's average breakfast fare.

This place was bad. No one had good service they were complaining when we got there. The grit's were soggy. My husband burger was sloppy and nasty. He sent it back three times. We used to go there all the time. But it has definitely changed for the worst. And the music boxes it was famous for are gone. Run away my advice

Firstly, the food here is next level. Literally everything was perfectly cooked. Crispy potatoes, meats that’s perfectly charred while not being burnt, eggs cooked to perfection. Yum. So good. The food is 5 stars. Now the bad. The service experience here would have been negative stars if I could give it. We walk in, there’s only 2 other tables being occupied by customers in the whole place. Despite the lack of customers, it took 10-15 minutes to get water/coffee as well as our order taken. Another 15 minutes go by when finally my girlfriends food comes out 10 minutes ahead of mine with her toast missing. We asked for ketchup and received an empty ketchup bottle. Finally, my food arrives after about 40 minutes and there isn’t even utensils on the table for me. While here, the table next to us got up and left after 15-20 minutes without so much as drinks on the table. The food was absolutely amazing though.

After extremely disappointing treatment at Sisters Who Cook, I ended up down the street at Dew Inn, a hole-in-the-wall diner that was equally packed, but accommodating. The service was very good, the coffee was very good, the food was that diner-style comfort food we all love: tasty with good portions.

This use to be a great place but new owners have turned it into terrible place. Went yesterday , the waitress said that the coffee was regular but the pot was empty except for decaf and would not make more, they don't have regular tea, she gave my husband decaf and when he told her she gave him mint tea. I ordered a spanish omlete which I got there before and it was outstanding, yesterday they gave me a omlete with no salsa or cheese on top. She served my food first and it was 10 min before my husband got his order of eggs and sausge and homefries. To top thing off the bill was $32.99 OUCH,

We have been going to the Dew restaurant for awhile, yesterday my husband and I stopped in for breakfast but it was about 12:30. We walked in and I notice there was no coffee at the coffee machine just decaf ( the pot with the orange lid). I asked the waitress if she had coffee and she said yes that they just use the decaf pot . ugh. She gave me a cup and it was h orrible. My husband ordered a hot tea, as he was stirring it he noticed the tag was decaf tea, we called the waitress back and she said that is what they serve but if he wanted he could have special tea like English breakfast which he took, which turned out to be some sort of mint tea but not English Breakfast. I ordered my usual, spanish omlete with home fries with onions and peppers. Husband had sausage and eggs with home fries. My omlette was not the same, no salsa , no cheese on top. To make this story short the bill came and it was $32.59. Yes this is right wow just for breakfast. They charge you $4.00 for homefries and a extra .75 for onions and peppers. I did complain for the high charge and she did take off $2,00, WE WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THAT PLACE AGAIN. This place was a hidden treasure but now its gone to hell.

I guess it's new management. Food took forever and we were the only 2 customers. My short stack were burnt. When I sent it back (which I never do) they made 1 new pancake and the other 1 was the burnt 1 from before. Will not be returning

Absolutely delicious! We came on a Sunday morning from NYC and absolutely LOVED every thing we had. The pancakes are spectacular and full of flavor as well as the waffles. The eggs were cooked to perfection, you can tell the grill is clean and not too hot where it over cooks or burns your food. We’ll definitely be back!

My experience was much different than what it used to be. I used to come here years ago with my partner and the food was amazing!! I decided to stop in because I was in the area and my French toast was BURNED. I ask to just return it and take it off the menu they said I can’t get my money back. They decided to remake them for me and the picture attached is what they “remade”. It literally just tastes like toast with sprinkled cinnamon on it. My eggs were cold. I was told they’re sorry it’s a problem with the grill. I’m never returning the new management is HORRIBLE.

They are understaffed, at least when I went. The 2 waitresses were friendly, but unable to attend to all the tables. I saw a family of 4 wait for about 20 minutes before leaving when there were 2 appropriately sized tables waiting to be cleared. We waited 45 minutes after placing our order and seeing multiple parties come in and get their food before us before we finally decided to leave hungry. We were told there had been a mistake in the kitchen. I'm not sure if the kitchen was understaffed as well, or maybe the order never made it there.Obviously, this review does not reflect the quality of the food. The problem seems to be with staff management. I gave an extra star because the ambiance was nice (simple, but good for a diner) and the prices were reasonable.

**cash only** Great little diner in the middle of Girard. Always passed it, but finally went in today. Omelettes are tasty and portions are pretty large for the low price. Restaurant itself feels like a 70s time capsule with its old wood paneling, countertops, and kitchenware. Has a nice charm though and will for sure be coming back!
