Wow, I was not expecting this from this recommended place at all. The yams were extremely sweet and gritty from the amount of sugar. It seems as if they served the bottom of the pan. The yams were hard and stuck together. The RIBS! Look at the bottom of my ribs! I went to cut my ribs in half and I realized I couldn’t. I flipped it over and this was the bottom. UNBELIEVABLE especially for the prices of these platters.
Oh yes I have found might go to very very delicious so much better than Wilson secret sauce I will be back thank you

It was my first time trying DIBBS two months ago. My family enjoyed the barbecue ribs as well as the beef brisket and the side dishes. This past Saturday, we really enjoyed it again.
Parking: DIBBS is located across from the Overbrook plaza.
I really really really wanted to like this place. I saw a good review on YouTube and decided to finally try it out. I ordered a rib platter with mac and yams, and a chicken wing platter with greens and potato salad. I also ordered a side of baked beans. When I got home i realized they had my order all wrong. I had Mac and yams in both platters instead of greens. I did get a side of potato salad which was horrible. It tasted like straight vinegar. It was literally the worst potato salad I EVER had. My ribs had no bbq sauce which I ordered. The Mac and cheese was super duper dry, and the chicken and ribs tasted like it was cooked directly on top of charcoal. I didn’t receive my baked beans. I’m not sure how this place has good reviews. I’m not a picky person AT ALL, and I hate wasting my money, but it was so bad I couldn’t eat it. I had to throw it away. 60 dollars down the drain. The one bright spot is they were friendly.

Let me tell you bout that soul food though! I got a brisket platter with collard greens and macncheese and it was fantastic!! Highly reccomend. No restroom available or drinks, just FYI. BUT totally worth every penny. I think for your dollar, you're best getting the platter if you plan on doing a sanwhich and sides. Feed me and my friend for lunch and dinner!

I tried it once about a year ago and it wasn’t that great but then I tried it a day ago and it was horrible. The ribs, the potato salad. The potatoes were too big. The only thing that I enjoyed was the green beans sorry.
Went here because I heard good things about the food. Tried to order some food, but the place was very busy, and what they had left for the day was limited. So will try to go early next time.

What can I say. This place is delicious. I drove 45 minutes to try this place, and I must say it didn't let me down. Like most of us, I heard about it from social media, so I had to try it. As you can see from the pics, I had ribs, collard greens, potato salad, and cornbread, and I bought a small macaroni salad. I got my sauce on the side because I wanted to taste the ribs first, and I must say they was fall off the bone good.. The potato and macaroni salad were also delicious. The only thing I can say bad is that I like my collard greens cut up a little smaller, but that's my preference. The cornbread was delicious. The customer service was great. i wad Greeted with a smile and a big hello. The only thing I can say bad is that I wish they would have given me 2 cups of bbq sauce because the Platters are big enough for two people. If the customer service and the food quality stay the the same, this place is going to be around for a very long time.. I know I will definitely be back..

We enjoy the pork ribs & chicken, especially the wings. They didn't have beef ribs for my daughter, but she enjoyed the beef brisket. They sell out fast so don't wait too late to put orders in.

I saw the reviews on Youtube and couldn't wait to get to Dibbs BBQ all the way from NC. Clearly I was one week late! I order the rib platter and my friend ordered the wing platter. We arrived on a Sunday afternoon and my ribs certainly had to be from last week. I couldn't even get to my friends ostrich size wings because I was steaming over dropping 30.00 dollars on last week's platter in the trash can. My sides were coleslaw and beans. The coleslaw was tasteless and watery, I'm surprised I didn't see the tin can lid for the beans on the floor. The corn bread was just has old as the ribs - very crumbly and dry. Hmmmmm.......Don't think I'm going back.

The food is nasty and overpriced. The barbeque sauce tasted awful. It was too thick and tasted like a cheap mixtiture of ketchup and AI sauce. Plus the ribs were dry, tough, and overcooked. The chicken wing platter I purchased for a friend also tasted horrible. The chicken wings were dry and burnt and again the so called barbeque sauce was awful. The potato salad, coleslaw, and collard greens also tasted nasty. The potato salad consisted of only potatoes and mayonnaise and nothing else. The collared greens were tough and too salty. I will never ever go to this place again. The total for two barbeque rib platters were $65.00. That is a expensive overcooked and this was the worst food I've ever eaten. I usually don't post reviews. However, I felt it was necessary because it is wrong to sell people food this bad. It is totally unacceptable.
