This was my first Dim Sum experience and I loved it. The soup dumplings were my favorite. Nice ambiance.

The wait staff are the real star here, which is saying a lot since their food is amazing. A must for Chinatown!

Limited menu for Dim Sum. You order what you want. They don't have carts that they roll around for you to choose from. Delicious chicken feet, roast pork buns, custard buns, etc.

I've been going to dim sum garden since it was a little shop that only fit a handful of people. I never wrote a review until today. The 5 stars is for the service that my last minute party of 20 people (15 pre-teens) received! Our original plan was to walk around with 15 kids but we got rained out and ran in here. Not only did they accommodate us last minute, but they got all of our orders correct, dealt with our chaotic separate checks, and did it with a smile on their faces. I've been a server in the past and I would not have been as gracious lol. Thank you, dim sum garden!

**Cash only as of 4/18/25** 5 star if they took card payment. Quick service and excellent food.

If I was in Philly I'd eat here again.

We used to love this place, but it's a shame that things have changed so much. The dumpling skins are now thick, and the food no longer tastes the same. They now charge for jasmine tea, and although the new location is a bit more spacious, we probably won't go back.

Crushed it and amazing!

Salt & pepper squid was ok, prawn dumplings pleasant, sadly the spring rolls were not up to scratch. Service was very friendly and fast.

The food was mid at best. Within five minutes of ordering, I received two of my items, the fried rice and the chicken soup dumplings, and they weren’t even warm. They tasted like they had been sitting for a while. The other items that came were also not piping hot, which I would expect if they came fresh from the kitchen. My server was nice, but not very attentive. But the thing that annoyed me he most was apparently this restaurant only accepts cash, but they didn’t have any type of signage indicating that if I had known, I either would have made a decision to go elsewhere or gotten cash from my bank instead of using their ATM and having to pay additional fees Overall I was super disappointed, especially since there have been so many good reviews of this place. So I’m not sure if my experience is a one off or if they’ve just fallen off in terms of quality.

Went here expecting authentic Chinese food, but left disappointed. Food was mediocre at best, dumplings and Shanghai noodles lacked flavor. Food definitely not cooked with skill but more for the masses. In addition the music is blasting inside and service is slow at times. I also don’t get why they charge taxes to the bill but don’t take credit card…hmm!?
