Dirty Franks is an institution! My favorite local bar when I was going to UArts, Frank got me through some rough days. Check out all the awesome artwork on the walls. Always great, friendly service!
The name says it all - a dirty, not really, local bar where the emphasis is on the drinks and the fun. A place to get a buzz on, not eat a great meal. Crowds can be a bit much on certain weekends, but it's a local(ish) place and the staff has always been friendly. Loved when the added the murals of all of the Franks and then expanded it several years later to include more.
I love this bar! Great bar, but unfortunately I had a sucky experience most recently. While waiting at the bar in Dirty Franks, the bartender Sarah, working alone and understandably overwhelmed, skipped over my friend and I repeatedly and then served a pair directly next to us that just walked into the bar. I say, excuse me, when you can, we’re ready to order. I think those people just walked in. She responds “did you take the deli number at the door? No? Ok.” And walks...
