Warm and thriving vibe with better service and better food! The lamb was best that I can remember. What a treat - best quality, drool inducing flavor, great service.
Colorful and informal, with a very limited menu. Hummus is their specialty and they have many varieties. We had the Jerushalmi which was outstanding. Also, the roasted cauliflower which was also outstanding. The portions are generous and everything is meant to be shared. Be careful how much you order or you will be taking home a doggie bag. Service was very friendly and efficient (shoutout to Lu). They serve you fast, a little too fast for my taste. Only 2 desserts. They were out of the one we ordered so they brought us the other one on the house. Nice gesture!
We had an incredible meal at Dizengoff — everything we tried was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Sadly the hummus sampler was no longer on the menu, so we opted for the Turkish hummus. This was easily the highlight, which I never would have thought hummus could be…the best we’ve ever had — creamy, perfectly balanced, and totally unforgettable. We had to fight over the crunchy garlic. We also tried their authentic za’atar chicken, which was phenomenal. Juicy, aromatic, and packed with bold, earthy flavor, it was the perfect complement to the hummus and sides. The dorade was also delicious paired perfectly with the flavors on the plate, alone jt was just a nicely cooked fish. The atmosphere was casual and welcoming, and the service was great — friendly and helpful without being overbearing. Dizengoff is a gem, and we can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend for anyone who appreciates top-tier Middle Eastern flavors.
Highly recommend Dizengoff if you’re in Philly and craving authentic Middle Eastern flavors. This cozy spot, from chef Michael Solomonov delivers Israeli street food vibes with serious flavor. The Lamb Köfte wrap was amazing! 🌯 Fresh lamb meatballs, chopped Salad, Sumac Onions, Tehina, Israeli pickel, hot pepper, wrapped in pita Isralie Breakfast also a MUST try! Za’atar Omelette, Labneh, Schug, Olives, Chopped Salad, Pita Our table shared an unbelievably smooth and rich plate of Hummus Yerushalmi 🥙 Beef, Baharat, Pine Nuts, Parsley, served warm with pillowy, freshly baked pita that’s worth the trip alone. The atmosphere is casual and energetic, with friendly staff who are happy to explain the menu. WOULD LOVE TO SEE THIS CONCEPT IN BALTIMORE! 🇮🇱 ממש טעים

Amazing place with absolutely delicious food! The best hummus we've ever had 😋🙌.
We ordered the full dinner for $48 per person, which included three types of hummus, tuna and Moroccan cigars, garlic chicken, and lamb—pure perfection.
I have to highlight the hummus again! We tried the Turkish hummus (with brown butter, crispy garlic, and urfa pepper, served in a small hot iron skillet—unique and absolutely delicious), the original, and the pitryot (a must-try for mushroom lovers like us!). The hummus and pita were honestly the best we've ever had.
A few words about the Moroccan cigars—I’m usually not a fan, but at Dizengoff, they were so good that even I loved them!
To top it all off, we were treated to a tahini ice cream sandwich for our birthdays—such a thoughtful touch.
Huge thanks to everyone who made our experience so amazing. We can't wait to go back! Wish we still had Dizengoff in NYC.

hummus and pickled radish perfection -- so I wrote 8 years ago, but now they're not just doing hummus. Too bad. Chi chi and pricey whereas I just want more of your fabulous hummus...

I am a student and I came from out of state specifically to go here for a special occasion. The food is alright and the atmosphere is nice. But, there’s a 20% service fee and the server expects a tip on top. I asked if that was gratuity and was told no and encouraged to leave a tip, so I added an 18% tip on top and tbh I’m now feeling like it’s quite sneaky of the restaurant and I’m not at all happy about it and would appreciate the restaurant rectifying this. Edit to add: For anyone who goes here, the service charge is on the receipt and menu (as the owner states in their reply); however, it's not on the merchant copy w/ the total where you sign and add a tip. It's on the copy placed behind the receipt to sign and not all that obvious. Additionally, they did not rectify this situation in any capacity and I would not recommend going here.
