This was my first time trying the highly recommended Dolores’ deli and it lived up to my expectations. I had the Gavone and the eggplant and chicken cutlets were crispy and the broccoli rabe was perfect. I loved the bread as it complimented everything very well.

I highly recommend this deli and trying their hoagies. You won’t be disappointed!

Look, I’m 40 a Philly native and I’ve eaten the best around, this place is TOP NOTCH. Whatever you order, get 2 because you are going to want seconds. The Pizza steak will knock your head sideways, it’s unreal. Enjoy responsibly lol

A South Philly gem. Just tried this place for the first time and it’s one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had. Reasonable price, super friendly staff. This place rules.

Dolores is easy to miss from the street but is a great find once you get in there. It's a small south philly hogie shop with all the classics. It's pretty much a to-go place. In addition to menu item sandwiches it looked like they got an assortment of chips and a soda fridge. The sandwich was great. I got a chicken cutlet special named after Eagles Cooper DeJean. I am looking forward to coming back to try a traditional Italian and the breakfast sandwiches. I think the breakfast sandwiches were only from 9 to 11 am. I called my order in ahead of time and it was ready on time with no wait.

Holy asystol-e, Dolores! Now listen. These folks know what they're doing. You may not have known, but back in 1998 I developed the first rating scale especially for hoagies. It’s called the CHUB-D.

C. Does the place feel CLASSIC?
H. Do the people working there make you feel at HOME?
U. Is there an UNUSUAL approach to some sandwiches to keep it interesting?
B. Do you feel pleasantly o-BESE after eating the sandwich?
D. Are the sandwiches DELICIOUS?

And guess what? Dolores’ scores 5/5. Do they close early on occasion and give you hoagius interruptus? Sure. Is that a fair price to pay for greatness? Absolutely. Are the people here just nice? It seems so. You can’t ask for more.

Asked for cooper cheesesteak. Gave me provolone lol had to be one of the worst steaks. No flavor not cut wrong cheese mid bread. Taste lowkey like dogfood. Won’t be back
