I had the Pooh Bear sandwich about a week ago and I haven’t stopped thinking about it (or talking about it) since. I don’t usually love hoagies, but I ate this, generously portioned, whole thing in about 10 minutes. The building itself is small, but gives old school Philly vibes. My biggest thing I can’t stop thinking about… the mailman was in the cafe area eating lunch when I was there. He stopped on his route HERE instead of anywhere else. He asked politely to use the bathroom and the owner told him he never needed to ask, that he was always welcome there even if it was just for the bathroom. Great food. Better people. If you’re in Philly, go out of your way to get some Dolores’.

Wow… just wow… freshest cheesesteak ever. Roll is amazing meat quality is amazing. One of the best cheesesteaks in philly. Flavor is like something I never had before, its like a cheesesteak if we were in Italy.

The food is absolutely fantastic! We almost gave up because of parking, but if you’re not in a rush, it’s definitely worth the effort. The sandwich came out quickly and is more than enough to share—easily serves two! Just keep in mind there’s no indoor or outdoor seating.

Shoutout to Dolores Deli for accomodating me. I work in Southwest Philly and I have been wanting to try the Chimmichurri Chicken Cheesesteak for awhile but it doesn't show up on GrubHub. I called and they typically only do cold hoagies on grubhub but were able to make one for me. I appreciate that they accomadated me. There Hoagies are always delicious and fresh and I am so looking forward to trying try the Chimmi Chicken Cheesesteak.
