Don Barriga Bar & Grill

Amazing food! We come from Indiana and always trying Mexican food! Obviously cuz we are Mexican. But this food was simply amazing. So good I totally forgot to get a picture. Husband got the chipotle burrito and mmmmm so good! Tasted so homemade! I got the steak Gordita and was so good! Their green salsa was yummy although not spicy. We drank a michelada and husband got two! And I got a mango margarita! Loved it! Mango tasted so natural and it was strong! Shout out to the bartender for his skills! Anyway overall it was amazing. Service could be a bit better. Out waitress seemed a bit lost and let one of our drinks sit at the bar for longer than should. I def recommended if anyone wants some authentic Mexican!

I ordered the rib eye steak and it was the best steak I’ve ever had. I’m extremely impressed and the steak came with enchiladas, rice, beans, quac, and tortillas. I’m so thankful I decided to eat here because it was a great decision.

I got the mole con pollo (chicken smothered in mole sauce) and it was beyond delicious. The best in the city by far.

I usually never leave reviews but I felt that this place absolutely needed one. I was a little nervous since it was my first time eating here. One of the people working had recommended the Birria Quesadilla and when I got it, it looked amazing and it tasted even better. It was so good I had to slowly take the time to savor it. The customer service was great. The people were kind and the food came out very quick. I will definitely be coming here again. I regret not getting dessert it looked so good but I was so full! Will definitely be returning 🥰 Amazing!

We had Madeline! She was great and so sweet. The food was great portion size leftovers for days! Kind people GREAT drinks

Super glad I came here. They gave us chips & dip when we first walked in. We were given 2 dipping sauces. Both were delicious. One was super spicy though. I ordered steak, shrimp, chicken & bacon mixed with peppers & onions. It came with beans, rice & tortilla wraps. It was soooooooooo good! I definitely recommend this place & I will for sure be back.

Amazing service, delicious food, lovely ambiance, and they were kind enough to refill tortillas chips twice for free, which didn’t seem store bought, so tasted great.

This place is a favorite go-to for lunch. The food here is consistently delicious and you don't wait very long, which is great when on a lunch break. I have tried all their soups, several sandwiches, and other dishes. It's honestly all good. They provide homemade tortillas on the house with salsa dips. My favorite dish currently is the Alambre dish with chicken. It's big enough that I eat some and take the rest home for dinner later. The tacos are also so good!!

I've had the pleasure of seeing them grow from when they first opened a year or so ago. Now they offer alcohol drinks and tasty desserts.

The atmosphere is delightful. It's bright and airy inside, with beautiful artwork on the walls. The servers are so friendly and attentive. I really do enjoy visiting this place! I think it would be great for an outing with friends or a date night. Stop in, you won't regret it!

Yesterday, I'll invited a friend to one of my fave Mexican restaurant for great food and good times! Over time one of their patrons a nice looking young black man walks in for a take out and, he's having a drink. Once he finished his cocktail he then leaves with his take out. After finishing our delish fajitas, I asked for the check. That's when Brian, our nice server, tells me the young man had pay our entire check. And I could even thanked him since, he left quietly not expecting to be acknowledged for such an act of kindness and generosity.

Tacos al pastor are sooo yummy. Shrimp tacos come with a bunch of shrimp.
If you are downtown and looking for authentic mexican flavors. GO HERE!
They also have a variety of margaritas and staff are always friendly!

Got the birria tacoa and they were pretty flavorful and good. Generous portuons.
Server was so kind and gave us lots of extra limes on the side.
