I’ll have to come back when I’m hungry I forced myself to come out here since I’ve wanted to try for few years. Had the half chicken, collard greens n Mac n cheese all of which seemed under seasoned but idk the chicken was good n while I wish for more heat I forgot to add sauces. Was hoping the collard greens would have ham hock but did not and was kind of blandish and Mac n cheese was ok wished for more cheese lol but I’ll have to come back for the doro bet which I’m told is spicy. I got the sweet kerkede was too sweet for me this day lol. I should have went with first gut call of the wings and doro bet. Nice staff and good service.

As a celiac I rarely can find fried chicken anymore. Their chicken is really good. I find their sides to disappointing. The salads are meh and the fries aren't good but their mains are great.
Delicious! 10 out of 10! Right when you walk in the place smells incredible. Friendly service and food came out quick. The chicken was marvelous and crispy with very unique spices. And I loved the Mac and cheese too! Bravo! Def will be back and excited to check out all the menu items!

I had heard some great reviews from food bloggers - so my expectations were set to high. Sadly I was disappointed. My friend and I arrived right at opening time. We each ordered the fried chicken sandwich. It was dry and leathery. My guess is they reheated the chicken from the previous day as it was hot on one side of the sandwich only. The pickles and sauce were tasty. I am hoping this was a one off - and may try it again.

Recommended it from Instagram, went for TooGoodToGo, ended up buying the special wings and the Sweet Kerkede “while I waited,” ah- the food is GOOOD. Seasoned perfectly, chicken is cooked great, lovely atmosphere- and I haven’t even eaten the food from TooGoodToGo yet but I was carrying the bag and someone passed me and stopped me to ask what it was because it SMELLED THAT GOOD. I’m bringing everyone I know there, though so don’t fill the place up too fast and if you do let me know when you all leave
