Me and my husband was on a inventory run for our soul food restaurant located in Johnstown pa we literally Rode by this spot my husband said make a u turn when he went in for a menu he was instantly excited to see it was black owned business after calling me into the restaurant the owner greatly blessed us with a seafood salad potato salad & this blue juice omg the best highly recommended this spot great customer service food smells so good in you can tell it’s cooked with LOVE…..

Wanted to grab some good food before leaving the city on Sunday, 07-02-23. The reviews were decent. Ms Daisy's closed early, so I came here because it was only 10 minutes away. Got here around 6:23 pm, but they closed. Google said they were open til 9 pm. I hit the highway still hungry & disappointed.

This was my first time eating here i loved it the staff was very polite and helpful with choosing my meal. They gave good recommendations. I had the ribs potato salad and greens with strawberry cake and blue drink i loved it all

I ordered food from him for $70 for delivery I payed through apple way and my food never came I reached out for my money back he told me he was and never did. I kept reaching out after that and haven’t gotten no response. The owner is really unprofessional. Each time I reached out I was very patient and respectful. As a business owner you are never supposed to just take a customer money and not make them satisfied. Not only that I have ordered food from here before and it took 3/4 hours with no communication while waiting for you food. I’ll say if you can’t pick your food up do not order from here. You may never receive your food or it may come extra late.

The food was very delicious I had the Thai chili wings. Omg I had a mouth party. The place was very welcoming and the cooks and cashier was very nice. If you are down North Philly I would definitely recommend this soul food place. Great Job!!!

We travelled all the way from Montreal, Canada and included Down Da Way on our list of stops. We saw a review for the options here and knew we had to give it a try.The service was very friendly and very helpful to make choices.We ordered both Alfredos (chicken and shrimp), honey bbq wings, their specialty blue drink & their signature wrap with a side of Mac and cheese… all of which was amazing!!!!The Alfredos were a huge hit and the wrap was definitely a favourite.We will definitely be back again and look forward to dining here!!
