Best breakfast ever! Must go if you are in Philadelphia! Lines move pretty quick for counter seats.

Blueberry Pancakes with a scoop for butter on it! Scrapple is fried to a crispy outside and a soft inside. It goes well with their strawberry jam. Apple dumpling has a whole apple baked in and smothered in whipped cream.

Lunch is also great with their hot turkey sandwich smothered in gravy.

The Dutch Eating Place in Reading Terminal Market is absolutely fantastic! The food is fresh, hearty, and full of authentic Amish flavor. The pancakes are fluffy, the scrapple is perfectly crisp, and the service is warm and welcoming — you truly feel at home. A must-visit spot every time you’re at Reading Terminal!

They offer delicious homestyle breakfasts and lunches — everything tastes fresh and comforting, just like a home-cooked meal. Friendly service and a warm atmosphere make it one of my favorite stops in the market.

Great fast service, high quality ingredients, quality portions and super delicious food. Every other customer that I spoke to beside me, said they frequently return to eat here each week. This place is legendary and for all the right reasons. My order was incredible. I definitely would eat here again and highly recommend that you eat here. The food is amazing!

This place is a dream - probably the best apple dumpling and turkey sandwich I've ever had in my lifetime. The plates are HUGE and well worth it for what you get. I'm planning on going back there before I head back home. I'll be dreaming of it thereafter. Diner vibes in the best way.

The food here is amazing and tastes homemade with fresh ingredients. The apple cinnamon French toast and apple dumpling are must-tries! Despite being very busy, the staff was friendly, professional, and kept everything moving smoothly. It was impressive to watch them serve everyone efficiently, all with a smile and great attitude.

Our food was delicious. My daughter had the chorizo hash and I had the steak and eggs. My sister raved about the cornbread waffle, so I had to try it. It was amazing!
