Dwight's Southern Barbecue

Dwights used to be me and my husbands go to when the kids were young and went to my mom's every other weekend.

I don't know what happened but they seem not to be focused on quality especially the sides. Beef ribs are still pretty consistently good.
But there was a female server that act like she can't be bothered with the customer as others have noted as well. She need to stay in the back 😩 🙄 she is not repping the establishment at all.

The owner needs to check out what's going on and come taste the food because it's nothing like it used to be😩 I still try to support black businesses as ofter as possible

I just bought a beef rib platter 3 hours ago the ribs were dried out you charged me $28 unchewable they need to fire the cook cuz they don't know how to cook back there they need a fire to cook the date is September 27th 2025 stop hiring guys back there to cook food I need to put some women back there to cook the food I bought turkey wings from Dwight's turkey wings with undercooked I will never buy no meats that Dwight Cooks in that restaurant again

Love the bbq sauce and the meats....ribs and chicken with the chopped beef...

The pla e has been close for a while???? Don't know the reson????

I would return yet the customer service was poor. I walked in scanning for a menu when abruptly told:if you’re looking for a menu there’s none. What you see is what we have. We ordered anyway. The kicker was this: we added onto our order and the lady rolled her eyes as if it was an issue. FYI we were the only people in the establishment ordering…..so it’s not like we were holding up a line. The wings were very good, m/c & yams was acceptable, cabbage too much seasoning for me YET I loved the preparation. The guy making our platters was very nice & ensured our order was correct. It’s unfortunate because I’d return yet poor customer service 🟰 i no longer will support an establishment. Im an observant person & her spirit was off….i felt rushed to order. Oh in addition i dude came in afterwards and ordered ribs. We weren’t even provided with all the meat options. Didn’t even say we have cake etc. So unfortunate I pray these reviews are taken in a positive way and promotes change

Ordered 6 rib sandwiches at $18.75 each, oh and 2 sides of yams.
The ribs were dry and mean dry
They should be ashamed of themselves to serve food this bad. They are just living off the name and it's not fair to the consumer especially at their prices.

I used to go to Dwights years ago!! What happened? I know what happened, SOMEBODY CAN'T COOK!! WHY WAS THE FOOD BURNT!! THE RIBS WERE BURNT, THE YAMS WERE OVER COOKED, AND THE YAMS SHOULD HAVE BEEN CUT OFF, THE BAD PARTS. I'M SO SHOCKED AT THIS!!! DONT HAVE TO EVER WORRY ABOUT ME EVER AGAIN!!! GET SOME REAL COOKS!!!

HORRIBLE PLACE. You don’t get any simple “hello” when you walk in. The customer service was BAD. How am I the customer wanting food and I can’t get WHAT I WANT….I ask for double mac and get told I can’t do that. Tf you mean I’m the one paying. Food wasn’t even all that great anyway.

Been going since I was a kid, not the same

If I could give 0 stars I would. HORRIBLE customer service. Doesn’t speak when you walk in, no friendly attitude, gets smart like I’m not paying my hard earned money and the girl kept side eyeing me. I was nothing but respectful the whole time. On top of that the food is nasty. I got the wings Mac and cheese collard greens and yams. I’m no chef but my food is better. Wings are okay because of the sauce everything else is a 0/10. Especially the Mac and cheese. Too much seasoning and taste like a cheesy kraft. Would never come here again and I recommend you don’t either. I don’t understand, if you don’t like your job why work there and be around customers with that attitude. They need a training on customer service asap.

The sauce is amazing as always but the ribs not good anymore. Last 3 times I hope it would be better but nope ribs tough each time used to be my favorite spot

It's was amazing fall off the bone good old fashioned BBQ with a bit of soul infused into it along with a dash of love... I will be returning to this establishment and soon!!!

I have been coming since they first opened up. The food is just not the same. You still get a healthy serving for your money but the taste and quality just not there anymore. I went there a week ago and my wife got sick from the food and spent the evening running to them bathroom.
