We wanted to try something new in old City. Love the area. There was great smell coming from the place and it drew us in. The food was good and our server was good.

The Garlic Sauce Style (Pork) 魚香系列 (猪肉) is a large portion with tender pork, ginger, garlic, bamboo, and wood ear mushrooms. It is described as sweet, sour, spicy, and tangy. General Tso chicken was very crispy, satisfying and fulfilling. The lady is very sweet, a bit old school and about business. They are the best and kept people full during college years. Food can't be beat for the price. The auntie at front might be cold at first but she is a funny ass person. Her English is pretty damn good too. Great takeout option for authentic Chinese food in the historic district of Philadelphia. Walking distance from hotels, friendly service and easy order and quick turnaround. Love the wontons and the chicken bowl.
