Every review u see on here about them having great hoagies has got to be very old. This place when it opened had very good hoagies and sandwiches. However that's the past. Last time I got sandwiches the were not good. I thought maybe it was just a down day. Unfortunately that is not the case. Ordered a hoagie and sandwich for lunch. Instant regret! Was charged $12.95 for the hoagie. (Asked for turkey and roast beef.) Usually refered to as an audie. Was told it was bc there was extra meat. Certainly wasn't the case. Anyway. The roll wasn't scooped like I asked. No mayo. No pepper no oregano. Nothing I asked for. Completely disregarded the instructions. Although the meats were Dietz and Watson they were far from fresh. Probably even spoiled as the roast beef didn't smell or taste great at all. Barely any turkey on the sandwich although I explicitly said even amount of both meats and cut as thin as possible since they slice it for each sandwich. Needless to say it was thick as hell. Then the salad on top of it taste like the vegetables have never been rinsed. Ever! Horrible experience overall. Very sad because like I mentioned above when this place opened it was a true diamond in the rough. Kensington has taken its toll on the business it seems. For $12.95 your better off driving or walking down to Richmond at and getting marinucci's. Which is what I should have done in the first place.I'll only be passing by this place from now on. My dad used to have a garage two blocks away and we ate their for lunch often. Side note. Kitchen is probably disgusting as normally u could see back there but the clear window covered by a large poster. And when I approached the door where I'd normally speak to the cook. It was closed on me and told to come to a small opening above the delicate where they pass your food through.
My dad just got a bunch of snacks for me and all of them are five months to six months old and I am nine months pregnant feeling really sick. Hopefully I don’t have food poisoning.
Someone needs to do something and it will be me
I don’t understand how there’s a owner and and he does not check for expiration dates
And please people watch who brings you up because they make their own prices
I walked into deli at 4:53pm and stood in front of the deli counterwhile a filthy looking employee did everything he could to avoid acknowledging me. Finally I asked what was the problem and he mumbled " I no understand" . Thena short told me " we closed"

Deli food is ?
Driving by and noticed the upgrade on the corner store. Looks good. Really nice paint job. Brand new sign. Glad to see such improvements in the city. Everything counts. Half the people care. The other half don't. Now to see how many other stores are keeping up. Shout out to Eden Deli and Grocery. And Good luck!
Friendly, good food, good prices. This is the only local place I'll go to for hoagies.
Incredible breakfast sandwiches & grits. Nice cook
The hoagies here are so fresh. I moved up here from south Philly and finally found a place that I can get a good sandwich from!
