Great service.Starters:Aaloo Aur Papri Chat had a nice tangy taste.Veg samosas were nice.Mains:Alu gobi had a lot of cauliflower, which is great as most Indian restaurants cheap out on this ingredient as it is expensive.Chicken vindaloo was pure spicy goodness.Lamb korma was creamy and mild spice.Shrimp tikka masala was flavourful. Came with shells on but no big deal.Lamb biryani had a nice flavour.Really enjoyed the meal. Inexpensive and large portions. Fantastic!Vegetarian options: Alu gobi
Incredibly kind and attentive waitstaff, very nice atmosphere, and the food was 10/10. We got the cheese stuffed naan, chicken tikimasala, mango smoothie and a lamb dish… out of this world! Highly recommend going!!

The food is amazing, authentic and delicious. I had the chicken vindiloo and the chicken naan. I highly recommend Ekta.
I ordered a samosa chaat for takeout from here. To my disappointment, it didn't have any samosa in it, just chickpeas. I requested it to be made spicy, but they added uncooked green chilies. The quality was not great, and it seemed like stale food. I wish I could give them less than 1-star rating.

I have been coming to this place for about 6 years now. I used to get it all the time, I moved away for a couple years, and recently came back and the quality and quantity are still incredible! The front desk guy Joe is really cool and the food is amazing. For real, this is my number one favorite place to eat in Philadelphia. I always get the Lamb Korma and it's the best I've ever had. If you enjoy Indian food, I can't recommend this place enough.
