Really great service and atmosphere but the food was terrible. The curries I ordered were really sweet and the rice and momos were cold. They also say that they are halal but they have no halal certificate so that is a concern for those who keep halal
I have tried a bunch of different Indian spots around Philly and this one was decent, not the best. We ordered chicken tikka masala and lamb biryani, the tikka masala was good, but the biryani was nothing like what I have tried before at other places. It was good, but super salty and dense, unlike other biryani dishes I’ve tried where the rice is light and fluffy and absorbs the raita to a perfect ration, whereas this biryani almost seemed to create a pasty mess with the wet...
Visited Etka Indian Restaurant with friends and had a satiable experience. The ambiance, service, and especially the food were all quality and well priced. A recommended-visit for anyone craving authentic Indian food. ⭐⭐⭐⭐
