Great spot!! Full of history…cheap still and old school

The best place in the area to get a beer and play cards

The place itself has a good vibe but the staff is very rude (in a way that makes it clear it’s not just a bad day).

I go here frequently with friends and the prices are different when I’m with my friends vs when I went by myself. Clearly the bar tender thought I had never been there before and charged me $8 for one shot when they usually charge $7 for the same shot AND a beer.

Try being honest and treating all you customers the same.

I think the bartender with the longer hair, not sure what it's called like braided maybe, is the nicest bartender

I don’t want to describe the smell but it stinks in there. Thought I was going to fall through the floor.

The only issue is they bumped the High Life/Fernet special up to $8 instead of $7 this week. Still a fair deal and great legit dive. Foo Fighters pinball is worth the trip alone. Being cash, be nice and don’t complain

Great old school dive with cheap drinks (compared to the rest of the hood) Good vibes.

Welcoming neighborhood spot. I wandered in on a Thursday afternoon. Friendly entertaining bartender. Heard the family ownership has been there since the 60s. I believe it. It looks like not much has changed since then. Refreshing.
