Excellent customer service!!!!
We had a truly disappointing experience here. We were seated at a table but had to leave shortly after due to a sudden family emergency. Before leaving, we informed the host and politely asked if we could place our order to-go instead. They were understanding and said “of course, no problem.”
We waited outside for our food and were preparing to leave when we were told there was a mandatory 20% gratuity added to our check—even though we never dined in, never received table service, and were simply handed a takeout bag.
When we questioned it, explaining we didn’t eat in and were just taking the food to-go, we were met with cold indifference. They were adamant about the charge, refused to discuss it, and made it clear this was their “policy.” It felt less like a standard service charge and more like a forced fee—taken without consent. Frankly, it felt dishonest.
We didn’t have time to stand there and go back and forth about it since we had to leave urgently, but We left feeling disappointed and taken advantage of.
Food is super average so never coming back here!!!! Spend your money elsewhere!!

Let be fair but firm. I have drove by this place many times and seen the tables full so I decided to try it out. We started with the Pancho Grande Nachos. They were ok especially since the order comes with no meat. Two issues the Nachos chips are paper thin so much first time I had to eat with a fork. Then i found a piece of broken plastic bread bag clip. I ordered the spare ribs which were pretty good. Meat was falling off the bone. Also had a order of pork belly that was also good. Now my wife order a chicken sandwich. Unfortunately that was a failed. Had zero taste and very messy. Another issue I have is when restaurants take it upon themselves to add the 20% gratuity. What if the service was horrible but I get it. From the crowd that was there i can imagine the server get stiffed on the tips. The place is dark inside reading the menu was a extra job and the place was loud better yet the people around us were over baringly loud. Would I return 🤔 Nooo. But try it the ribs were the best thing for me.

Restaurant has mice. One ran past our feet for a table of 8 towards the back by the two double doors. We brought it to Christie’s attention, she let me know that she will tell the manager. Came back with the check and left. No apology, nothing. Just took our money without addressing our concern. Disgusting. Never coming back. Save your money and support a restaurant that actually cares about the customers.

A few moments at @ElCaminoPhilly.... home of the best Pig Wings!! A friend wanted some margaritas so why not head to El Camino. While, I experienced something new for my palate, reviews are always honest & real! Enjoyed my meal, but the lack of ingredients for summer cocktails on a holiday weekend was slightly disappointing. I ordered the Lavender Lemonade, Spicy Watermelon and Frosé. Each one wasn't available, so I ended up getting a draft Modelo. I'm sure what ingredients were missing but with 2 supermarkets within a block radius, something could've been done to keep production moving in that area. I would've definitely spent more if the sips were sippin'! (I have 25+ years in hospitality/bar management and as a current farmer, if you need ingredients, allow me to help you source them. I.E.... I couldve had some lavender syrup made in an hour & delivered.)
My server & staff were pleasant & accommodating otherwise. My American Burger was cool with fries. The pineapple added flavor! I hadn't visited El Camino in a few years honestly. I was excited about this visit but it fell a bit flat.

Went here to get drinks, drinks were good but getting a bill for 110$ for 4 regular tequila drinks was shocking, I don't know how you justify that price, I definitely won't be going back!!!
The bartender Kara made the most amazing frozen strawberry margarita I am in awe. Never take this queen for granted I am in legitimate heaven with this drink from the Gods.

Went recently for dinner with a friend and the food was fast coming out and our server was extremely attentive and friendly. I really enjoyed my shrimp burritos, they had lots of flavor and weren’t too spicy. However the elote brussel sprouts could’ve used more seasoning or something to me. Also, the hibiscus margarita was good and they didn’t skimp on the alcohol. I like that you can order in multiple sizes (16oz, 32oz, etc) and share with a friend if you want. Other small complaint was that the cool air couldn’t be felt throughout the restaurant (the outside temperature was in the 90s) and we had to ask to be seated in a different section that was cooler.

(Biased review bc I am from TX and I am very picky) the best thing about this place is the patio - it is very nice for meeting up with friends.
But food is aggressively mid. Idk for sure, but margs tasted like they used mixer, even the frozen Marg was not very good, and of course way over priced for all of this.
We went on a busy night so idk if it's always like this, but it was LOUD and people were tripping over themselves drunk. Which, you know, that's how it is sometimes when there's a bar, and not everybody is gonna be bothered by that. But it wasn't the vibe we wanted and if it's not what you're looking for, just keep that in mind.

This restaurant is nice ! The food was flavorful and reasonable prices. Visited El Camino Real with friends during Sips! They had good deals and the margaritas were my favorite! This restaurant has outdoor and indoor seating and the staff is helpful and friendly. My Cons would be there’s only one bathroom and it’s a restroom, needless to say i had to make a hefty line to use the bathroom. Additionally the corn looks so great, but It lacked flavor. Pro tip. Add salt to the water when boiling the corns. :) parking is tough so i suggest to Uber ! It’s the City.

Will not go back; menu is decisive; not impressed by the margarita; server added gratitude automatically which to me is a insult and was very disrespectful; I’m not rolling to that area with Pennie’s in my pocket

Very standard. The tacos are good but I thought the blue fish quesadillas were horrible. The rice and beans were cold. The mussels were just fine, but the sauce was not flavorful. Probably best for college kids seeking happy hour or brunch.

Quite literally the worst experience I have ever had at a restaurant. I love to try a new spot and this was our first time.
I found a tooth pic in our drink. I was never reassured that the ice was changed until the end. We were never given an apology until I personally called for the manager at the end of the experience.
The food was incredibly bland. My partner got the wrong order and it took so long that they just ended up giving it to us to go. The server, Noah, just kept sending the trainee once he saw that we were annoyed.
Once it came time to pay the Manager, who didn’t give me his name, just told me that the ice was burned and then comped a drink and gave us a friends and family discount. Which would’ve been fine until I saw that that added 20% gratuity to my bill without my consent.
This restaurant was gross and the service was less than sub par.

It was freezing cold inside and windy outside. The guy noticed we were trying to move and said that it was fine honestly whoever that guy and the other guy I believe the runner along with the host were the reason for the 2 stars for service. Service was just rushed but that also could’ve been made known before we sat down or even after the first time we were offered a few minutes. Ordered the steak tacos disappointed the food was cold but the kitchen is closed so I got a box to give it to someone homeless because I’m not reheating medium rare steak. My daughter got a burrito the steak wasn’t even chopped/sliced it was just there with a square piece of cheese which would’ve been nice to know it’s not shredded if she chose another option. The pork shoulder looked more like processed pork or ham steak. The other waitress was kind enough to give us a bag overall disappointed we came on the 19th and Zoe was our server. For 20% gratuity to already be there the restaurant should deliver service and food deserving as such.

Atmosphere and service was great. Very LGBTQ populated but that’s just for awareness. The food was very Americanized so don’t expect authentic Mexican food, hence why the 1 star for food. Got the spicy shrimp tacos and the short rib birria, as well as the salsa and chips. Everything tasted very bland, even the chips and salsa. Didn’t get a drink so can’t speak on the drinks but food was not the best.
