The second time, I've been charged for missing toppings. First time, I paid extra for guacamole to be added to my burrito. I got home to see there was no guacamole on my burrito. Yesterday, I odered a steak burrito. Cut open the burrito to see they forgot to add any steak to the burrito. This place has seriously went down hill since they first opened.

This small eatery is located on Germantown Avenue in Chestnut Hill. The food was very good here. My friend ordered a beef tongue quesadilla which he really liked and he is hard to please. I had 2 Empanadas one beef one vegetable. Both were good but I liked the veggie one a little better. My friend had Mexican soda for the first time and enjoyed the refreshing taste. I had unsweetened ice tea and a water. The service is just grab a table that you wish. There was a little confusion with this for us because their was no one in sight when we walked in and of course it was our first visit. Food is very good so I will return 😋

Very happy with our first experience at El Limón! Food was delicious (generous portions), service was fast and great, and their patio is very pleasant (with nice Hispanic music, not too loud)! Will return if we are in the area again!

Gave themselves a unauthorized $5 tip on a take out order. After I alerted them to the situation I was finally able to get a refund. Food and atmosphere is good. Service is so-so.

Had the enchiladas with barbacoa and mole and my partner had the alambres. Sooooo tasty!! Every bite was on point and the staff were super kind. It’s a sit down spot but the food comes out super fast. I’d say it’s more of a chill meetup than a date vibe. We were in and out in 45 minutes. They’re BYOB so I’m making a note of that for next time. They also have great hours. One of few spots these days with solid late night food.

I recently dined at this restaurant and was truly impressed by both the service and the cuisine. We were seated promptly, and our server was not only friendly but also very knowledgeable. The food was delightful and looked exactly as it did on the menu. I look forward to returning to this location with more friends. As a satisfied customer, I can't wait to experience it again.

Splendid experience at El Limon! The food and service were amazing. I highly recommend alambres and my wife says the salsa verde is the best she’s had. Don’t forget the free margaritas! Quiet dog friendly patio with a view of the train station.

The complimentary margarita is a nice touch and draw in however both my tacos and tortilla soup were a little bland. Service was very inattentive I had to actually get up and grab my own napkins after waiting 10 minutes. And the owner/manager not sure who she is but she acts annoyed to even have customers. She doesn’t greet you or make eye contact she just sits on her phone. I also didn’t like how they bought everything out at once : water , margarita , soup and tacos all came out at the same time.

They have no parking. Be prepared for tickets. Not pleased with the shrimp tacos. Tortillas were torn apart like I was making taco salad. Customer service poor. When returned with food for return. Was told I was not their client/customer.

I used to like this place but my last two visits have been very poor. I came into the restaurant today, sat down completely empty. I waited at least 5 minutes to be acknowledged, waited and waitresses walked past me, looked at me, but not a word. Eventually someone decided to see if the only customer in the restaurant needed food. Meanwhile every other person who came in after me was attended to from the door.

I don't know what happened but I think this'll be my last visit

I door dash and it's always a ten to 15 minute wait
