The tacos were pretty average. I tried the al pastor, carnitas, barbacoa, tinga, asada, lengua, and chorizo tacos, but honestly, nothing really stood out flavor-wise. Both salsa roja and salsa verde were underwhelming. Just kind of meh overall.

My son and I completed a job across the street from El Limon and decided to stop in for take out. Wow! what a find! We ordered the Enchiladas Mole, the Alambre with barbacoa & lengua and a Torta el pastor - All were amazing! My wife is mexican so I know great authentic mexican food when I taste it. Highly recommend El Limon ! The dessert shop 3 doors down is great also.

El Limon is one of our absolute favorite places to go. The Quessabirria tacos are amazing, the consome is so flavorful that we order it every time even if we don’t get birria tacos. The guacamole is great too, and the chips are always served warm. Alejandra is the sweetest woman, she always gives us the best service and makes sure we are always overly satisfied. She makes the experience 10 times better. Definitely the best taqueria in Philly. 100/10!!!
