The IRS needs to check this establishment is a cash only restaurant so how much money they make a day is unrealistic because the city of Philadelphia license and inspections don’t keep tabs on them also when ordering try to pay with a card she tells me cash only what are they hiding profits on a daily basis or cover up or Pennsylvania state general should launch an crack down on all restaurants that charges cash only No, restaurants in Philadelphia cannot be cash-only because the city's Cashless Retail Prohibition requires most retail establishments to accept cash as a form of payment. This law was enacted to ensure all consumers, including those without bank accounts or credit cards, have access to goods and services. While there are some exceptions, a general cash-only policy is not permitted for restaurants in Philadelphia.

No organization.. you have to grab a number.. order and wait.. but there is no way to know any of this. Also no prices shown for food so we were surprised... the food 9/10.. ensalada, habichuelas, tostones, arroz con gon gandules and the juices were delicious.. the chicken and the experience.. not so much and it’s actually why I won’t be returning. I will just stick to cooking Dominican food in my own kitchen and save the 90+$$ that we were charged. The server was great so no hate to her, the others not so much. Very rude attitude, and one woman who looked in her late 30s that had a hair net and thick drawn eyebrows kept walking past my husband winking at him and trying to lick her lips to get his attention. Desperate isn’t even the word. He paid her no mind, but this really sucked for me as I enjoyed the food but if the atmosphere is off we won’t return to a place. I visit Philly often so this was a bummer. My advice would be to fire the help.. because this place could be a lot bigger than it is with the right staff.

Just got a large rice with a salad. $17 ! I didn't get a salad. Shredded cabbage with 2 tiny slices of tomato's. Such a waste. Wish I could share a photo.

The people that work here are very rude if your not there nationality. The amount of food they give you is enough to feed a small child. This restaurant is money hungry they just want your money. No matter how nice you are to them they are very rude. barely wanna tell you how much you owe for what your buying. They don’t like African American here so save your money and go else where.

Food is great. Would definitely recommend if Dominican food is what you have a taste for. The shop is small so be prepared if you go when it is crowded.

Parking: Parking is very minimal, but you can park in the middle of the street or at the market on the next block.
