This is an excellent place to go with friends to reassure yourselves that you are 'tech' and totally cool. The key ingrendient here is that everything is done on-line using El Tech's app via QR code, including the automatic application of generous tips and kitchen fees. You can't use cash. Actual service by staff is minimized, and there's none of that trying to get a waiter's attention so that you can order another round. Food prep, as well as cook time, is also minimized. Much of what you get is simply a small taco into which the kitchen has put a scoop of whatever you believe you've ordered. It's kind of a Gen Z Burger King with drinks and lots of automated tipping. But the vibe is quite self-congratulatory. Don't bring a date or friends with an IQ over 90 here and you really, really will have a great time!

El Techo has a great view, solid drinks and guac, and helpful staff. Went with a friend after work and it was great for catching up, not too noisy or crowded!

Great tacos and loved the roof. Wasn’t a big fan of having to wait in line when we had a table and people waiting, but the staff upstairs was pretty chill. We also had the multi salsa tray with chips and those were delicious. The espresso martini I had was smooth and good.

If you’re looking for a subpar rooftop experience with introverted vibes, this is the place for you. Only wish I could tip the kitchen and bartenders instead of the awkward service experienced since they did more work than front of house. First time was the last time.

We were given a voucher by Motto Hotel to use at the bar. We used the first one without any problems. When we went to use the second, the bartender tried to force us to pay a tip, saying it was mandatory because we were using the voucher. Totally lacking in character.
Your money can be spent at way better places than here, I promise you. The food is bite size for non bite sized prices. It’s all meh and you’re paying for the roof top.
Don’t expect the staff to be kind either!

This is easily one of my favorite restaurants in the city. The ingredients are always fresh for both drinks and food and you get things usually within 5 minutes or less when ordered. Never change you guys!

This place was meh. The tacos were $6 a pop and nothing special. Same with the drinks—$14 marg was tiny and tasteless. Host was incompetent to say the least. Not rushing back any time, or ever for that matter. Very loud even outside.

Food was great, servers were fine. Would be 5 star but when we got off the elevator there was a sign up that said please seat yourself so we did. Then about a minute later the hostess comes to our table and says we can't sit there and should have waited for her to seat us.
We told her there's a sign that says seat yourself and she got an attitude and then took the sign down.
Went on a Saturday around 2:30pm, no issues Genoa table, the food was served so fast and the drinks are soooooo good! I would definitely go back.

Hands down the best nachos I’ve ever had! Amazing vibes, great DJ and decor, and perfect for date night.
Huge shoutout to Mike at the bar—super friendly and on point. El Techo is a must!

The best part of this place is the view and the food is okay. Every time we have gone, the service is slow and you should not go if you have a time crunch.
The only thing I liked about this spot was that it is a rooftop restaurant and it was inside of our hotel, so we just had to go to the 11th floor. The margaritas are mid. The tacos I tried (brisket and chicken) were TRASH. Downright disgusting. If that was indeed brisket, it was very fatty. Never again. There are dozens of other restaurants surrounding this area.
