El Vez is a staple with great food and worth the price. The mushroom fajitas are a generous portion, perfect for sharing. The elotes are tasty and the drinks during happy hour are yummy. The staff is engaging and accommodating, and the food comes out fast. The ambiance is always fun, although it can get very noisy. The steak tacos are excellent and spicy, as well as the guacamole. The restaurant is great for group celebrations, with attentive servers who give excellent recommendations. The churros with a candle for birthdays are a highlight, along with the sweet corn and poblano empanadas. El Vez is a must-visit, especially for those looking for vegan/vegetarian options.
