Elwood was a lovely spot for high tea! The space was clean and tidy with plenty of room at the tables. Cute teapots and cups added a charming touch, and the tea tasted super fresh. The food was a standout — the salad, breads, spreads, and snacks — all clearly made with care. The owner served us and was very kind. The back patio wasn’t open but looked really cute. Overall, a great experience, especially for the price!

Phenomenal! We went for tea service on the weekend and what a treat. Delicious teas, little snack foods, and presented as a course. We cannot wait to come back for dinner! The owner and chef is very kind and you can tell how much of himself he puts into the food. Excellent experience, highly recommend!

First time visiting the restaurant and was impressed. At first I was a little hesitant hearing Pennsylvania Dutch cuisine. But from the get go I was really blown away. Great attention to detail and the food was the best meal I’ve had in a long time. Can’t wait to return.

Had a fabulous summer feast at Elwood🔥

It's such a fun, experimental, and Pennsylvania BYOB. Chef Adam Diltz is having fun with local & creative flavors that are definitely perfect to bring out-of-towners. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Like having Sunday dinner at Grandma’s.

If Grandma had a library of culinary textbooks and the innovative temperament of a gifted chef.

Overpriced. Exceptional service. But I had comparable level food at two times cheaper places. 3 perogies for 15$ is a joke.

Outstanding service with delightful presentation. Freshly made cuisine that shares a personal flair of the owners experience. Philadelphia is graced by having a restaurant such as this.

Delicious!! You can feel the care that goes into each and every dish and see the story behind each one. The funnel cake reminded me of my childhood going to fairs and festivals. They were very accommodating for us even though we were late to our reservation. We also forgot the bottle of wine we were going to bring, but another table gave us the rest of theirs. Definitely a must-visit.

We enjoyed our Easter Supper here. It was perfect. It reminded me of Easter at my grandmothers house in Lancaster. I’m very happy we found Elwood…or maybe Elwood found us.

Tremendous food off a deceptively simple menu. Atmosphere is decidedly quaint without being oppressively traditional. Highly recommend to visitors from out of town but Pennsylvania natives will also find the food to be extraordinary even if familiar.
