If you have not been to EMEI you are doing yourself a disservice. This place never fails and always provides top quality and great tasting Sichuan based dishes. Customer service makes you feel like family. Just an overall GEM in the City of Philadelphia.
Overpriced, lunch sized dinners for Chinese food that can be found at many, many other locations nearby. Completely not worth the $18 chicken and broccoli plus $1 extra for a tiny cup of white rice
Food was terrific as always and Nina our server was a great help. Always smiling despite the crowd and pressures.
Top notch Sichuan food in the heart of Chinatown. Our waiter helped us gauge the right amount of food and made modifications based on our taste.
We had a reunion with our dear friends from London. We usually have Chinese food in UK and US. We had a fabulous time on Saturday and shared delicious food!
Nina was the best server ! Our fresh fish dishes and veggies were delicious! Our new favorite restaurant!
I had the Chongqing Spicy Chicken because I had a similar dish at Z&Y in San Francisco China Town. I was very disappointed with the EMei version. The flavor and spice level was on point, but the vast majority of the chicken pieces were so small they were or tasted like breading chunks. I tore open several and couldn't find any meat. I was really disappointed because I brought 3 co- workers with me and touted this dish as something they should try and the other 2 who had this dish were as disappointed as I was. On the other hand, the one who ordered the tea smoked duck was the winner as I tried it and it was excellent.
This is my favorite Chinese restaurant. It's delicious and has bountiful gluten free options. It always feels energetic and busy. Love coming here.
Never a disappointment! Been to Emei 5x, and its always a treat. Excellent food and service, drinks are great, very nice place for a fair price!
Waitress was very helpful. My friend had food allergies and she was able to help her order safely.

We were here for our son's college graduation last week. It was our first time and was the best food and service we've had in quite some time. Fatima took amazing care of all 13 of us and the manager was also amazing. The attention to my Wife and son's gluten and dairy allergy was excellent. They were prompt, thorough, knowledgeable and the food was absolutely incredible. Thank y'all for making such a special milestone so much better.
Overpriced food. Alcohol horribly overcharged. I asked for a cocktail and they charged me twice once for the cocktail and once for the gin.
Excellent sichuan food that was brought out with little wait after ordering. Menu has a lot of variety that will satisfy people who are familiar with chinese food and those who are just starting to try. Service was attentive and pleasant. Portions are generous. Highly recommend this restaurant.
Everything we ate (all vegetarian) was incredibly delicious. I'd jump at the opportunity to eat there again. The wait staff was helpful & attentive. My only negative comment is the unbelievable loudness of the place—not great for people who are noise sensitive or have hearing issues (me), but the food was so good i'd come back at the first chance
The highest rating on sound was not “energetic”, it was just so loud it was impossible to hear each other. The table we were at was so close to others that I had to keep pulling my chair in so the waiter could get by to serve other guests. Food was served so quickly that we were in and out in an hour. Not exactly a relaxing experience. The food was good but if there's a next time, I'll do take out.
