Incredible food and service. We got Caesar salad, the Miranda, and the MVP. The Miranda was very cheesy and a little sweet and the MVP was pretty spicy but hearty and flavorful. As always, the crust and sauces are to die for.
Took my parents to Emmy squared for a late lunch. The staff were so friendly, attentive, and exuberant. Our food came out promptly and was delish. Would recommend the Le big Matt ! Always love stopping by!
Their pizza is good, but their pick up pizza takes 1 hr + which I find unreasonable
Great experience with a large group. We were seated on the roof on a beautiful night. Service and food was great.
Leaving a review like I should’ve, group of girls and I went out to dinner here. Got sat quickly and then our server (Frank) came to take our order without asking for drinks or having the menus yet. After ordering, our server disappeared. After waiting one hour since we ordered I called for him to ask how much longer the food would be. He took up a tone that was unnecessary and then said “what do you not want it then?” -i was just asking for a time frame… Asked for his name and he told me it was Mike. Later found out his name was Frank. Assuming we were not going to get our food anytime soon, we got up and found the manager, told him about the incident, sat longer to write out a report for him, all for nothing to happen. Frank still currently works there. I see where all the bad reviews are coming from, poor management and snippy servers
Wonderful spot loved the pizza a bit slow but worth it
Great spot!
Outstanding pizza!
Had a pretty bad experience there over the weekend. Staff was very rude and we waited close to 20 minutes at the upstairs bar before the bar tender ever even looked at us! I understand being busy but to completely ignore customers is no good. Felt unwelcome most of the night. Food/drinks were good, so at least there was that.
BEST PIZZA IVE HAD IN PHILLY- Here’s why: Being from the Midwest I don’t necessarily like what most north easterners like with pizza. I think a pizza should be crispy on the outside and soft with a ton of cheese and toppings on the inside. Emmys is exactly that. We also tried the Brussel Sprout Salad. You guys have to replace the blue cheese with goat cheese and that thing would be next level.
Our favorite ! The Best pizza ever here. The staff is awesome and the atmosphere both inside and roof top is great! We constantly go there to eat!

*ordered via uber eats* my cousin raved about the nyc location, I was hungry and tired so I ordered from there. I got the mvp pie with olives and ricotta. The ricotta was amazing add. Could’ve skipped the olives cause that was too salty all together. The pie was so good my only gripe was that it was SO oily. Will return in person next time. Def loved it overall.
We were served water 20 minutes after seating. Had to go to bar and ask for service. Treated rudely. Waitress appeared attentive but never brought menu is Q code. 35 minutes in we ordered drinks and were ignored. Left after almost an hour. Too bad because Food looked very good as we watched it being ordered and served all around us. We do no Way road or demanding never had such poor service in my life will never ever go back
I'd never been to Emmy's and after living in the neighborhood for three years now, I decided to finally go for my bday. we sat on the rooftop which has a great view of the skyline and south Philly if you're in the right spot. Our server was such a sweetie, as well. We had the Caesar salad, the pesto breadsticks, and the margherita pizza, which were all great. The drinks are pricey but dangerously delicious. I had the sweet auburn which tastes like summer in a glass. Only knocked a point for some odd things that are exclusive to the rooftop; the glassware and plates are all plastic up there and the food all comes up in their dum waiter so it's all boxed up as though it's to go. Not sure why that is. Maybe they're worried things will be broken more easily if they have to travel up there? I felt like it was worth it for the view and enjoying the weather but it was a bit odd. The tables are also plastic and absorb any grease from the food, which is a lot of grease, but I knew that going in. Overall, great spot, probably even better if you go for happy hour on a nice day. I'll likely go back at some point or maybe order in. Thanks, Emmy's!
Food was delicious, although the Caesar salad was over-salted- we gobbled it up anyway. Pizzas were all super tasty (we tried 3 kinds) and our server was a star! Lovely interior. Overall, we loved it.
Overpriced food served in cardboard boxes with mediocre service. Great ambiance on the roof and the pizza is yummy, but would be nice to eat on real plates with cutlery.
