A friend & I went there Saturday 12/09 for dinner. The food was an insult to my taste buds. The chicken wings were just OK they were jumbo size which means they were tough to break apart & no seasonings, the greens were canned Glory greens & the yams were also canned Glory yams,they were doctored up with additional sugar &spices. I'd ordered a bottle of soda & it was expired. Had to use the restroom & to get to the restroom it was like walking through their living room. Based on the ambiance they were probably living in the restaurant & we were the only business they had that day.

I order a fish plater with fries and yams, also a chicken platter with greens and yams. The fish was very good, 2 big filets seasoned and cooked right, yams are good, the fries are okay just dont like the seasoning they used. It had oregano in the seasoning which made the fries more like home fries, just not my preference. The wings were fried good but lacked seasoning and they are too big for my liking. The greens were good just a little a salty. Overall this place is legit, first soulfood place I've liked.

Outstanding and plentiful fried chicken and 2 sides. Each entree came with delicious corn bread. We tried the collard greens, creamed spinach, Mac and cheese, candied yams, and seasoned rice. All delicious.The place is small (3/4 tables) with white linens and clean.The service was simply outstanding.we felt welcomed and everything was delivered hot.We will be back.
Vegetarian options: Vegetarians can order ala carte platters. The collards are made without meat, the creamed spinach, mac and cheese, candied yams, and seasoned rice would each add to a vegetarian meal.
The spicy chicken brioche sandwich was absolutely perfect comfort food, and the service was like dining with family!!

The food wasn't that great my friend had the fish with mac and cheese, the mac and cheese was very dry, and the fish wasnt that flavorful. I had the salmon sandwich and while the salmon was seasoned the whole sandwich together was very bland, and so were the fries, but they give you good portions of everything that's why I'm giving two stars.
