I spend 3 months a year in Old City. These guys are my lifeline. They are The. Best. Deli. In. Old. City. On the menu- the B-1 for a great breakfast. Dinner? The #12 turkey. Superstars!
Fortunately, we saw the sandwiches delivered to other tables that warned us to order one sandwich for two people. My husband and I split the corned beef sandwich and a side salad. We wanted a leaner cut for an additional $2. It was more than enough food for two people. The corned beef was full of flavor, probably one of the best we have ever had. Complimentary coleslaw and pickles were appreciated. Many celebrity photos lined the walls.
Plan to share a sandwich. Excellent corned beef sandwiches. One person in our group ordered the hash. Phenomenal hash. We ate leftovers for several days as the portion is huge. We also loved the old decor and friendly service.
