First time at this restaurant...Food was on point definitely be back soon..
Their food is amazing! They serve cowfoot daily!! I'm in love. Lol. My coworker and I share each other platters...
This is the best Ackee & Saltfish, Callaloo, Plantains and fried dumplings I've had since I 1st ate it over 30 years ago. They will be seeing me for lunch close to dinner and at least 2 or 3 times a week.
Just ate off the Family Spot Truck that is parked in front of the Rite Aid at Washington Lane and Stenton. DELICIOUS! We had an oxtail platter with rice and cabbage AND a jerk chicken platter with only cabbage. So good! Great flavor on all food. The chicken tastes like it was cooked on a BBQ grill. The ladies working the truck were very nice. We will definitely return. This is my new favorite spot!
Now just looking at the restaurant you would not give it a second glance, and its not in the best part of the neighborhood. It stands amongst a bunch of houses like a cast off. If you do venture inside don't let the bulletproof glass deter you. Friendly staff, they have a few tables to sit down. Had to been the cleanest kitchen I've EVER seen in a restaurant. The food was OMG delish and decently priced. We had the Oxtail and the curry goat. With a family of four it was more than enough food and there were no leftovers. Definitely coming back!
