Nothing compares to Faragalli bread. There's something special about the way it's baked.

Faragalli's Bakery is a must-visit for anyone who loves a hearty Italian bread! My family and I have been going there for over 50 years, and we've never been disappointed. Their Easter bread is a must-try. Their bread is excellent for dipping. Bernadette is always friendly and greets you with a smile. Highly recommend!!!

We just picked up our Easter bread - it is so delicious, melts in your mouth. Soft, sweet - out of this world - Thank you!

The tomato turnovers are delicious and unique! Rich and full of flavor but made without cheese. I bought them to serve with lentil soup for out of town guests and they were a great hit.

Was at a local italian restaurant in South Philadelphia and had their bread, it was like a flashback.. I'm like " this has to be FARAGALLI'S"!! and, I was right..incredible.. no better bread in the world..

I always get bread but their loaves are great too! cranberry, banana chocolate chip, peach, apple, and a moist pound cake. Yum!! Can't forget their fried dough, and the cherry bites and apple bites too.

I love Faragalli’s. Its a small Italian style bakery. The bread and the rolls are so good. Just went in and got 2 plain long loafs.

Best bread in PhillyDisregard any of the low star reviews - this place is third generation authentic old world moved to new world Italian bread making. It’s famous for the family recipe “loafs” - that means the large long bread which you can see in the picture. The original recipe didn’t have seeds but if you like seeds the seeded loafs are nice. Yes the bread has a hard crust. It’s not made for grandmas without heavily glued dentures or those looking to satisfy a sweet tooth. If you are looking to power up before the championship softball game so you can jack a homerun 400 feet into someone’s window this is your spot. The bread is intended to be dipped in “gravy,” spread with a bunch of butter, or dipped in “sauce” or “dressing” (think salads, Turkey drippings, or bruschetta). The thickness of the bead nicely sops up all delightful savory flavors.Btw it’s closed sundays and Mondays and cash only
