Manager was extremely rude, would not go back. Fought with us after making us move tables due to "their mistake",

One of my favorite places in the city and a hidden gem of Fairmount. My sister has lived in Fairmount for almost two decades and this is our neighborhood joint. It’s our favorite for truffle fries, fig mule, flatbreads, calamari, and salmon is delicious. Brunch is also always delicious here. Literally anything you get on the menu will be tasty. The owner George is a super great person and has even let me host my best friends bridal should here a number of years ago. It’s a Gem within Fairmount. He also seems to have opened an oyster bar across the street which will will try soon as well. The menu changes seasonally due to whatever is available from the farms he sourced. Here are some pictures from over the years! Definitely check Fare out!

Delicious! Server was not attentive, walked up, didn't say hi or even introduce herself, just asked what I wanted to drink. What kind of "service" is that? I smiled, said hello and asked her name. Jordana I think. I had to look around for her a lot.

Great octopus, oysters and drinks! A little expensive. $2 oysters during happy hour, but they were very good! Blue Point.

Male Manager in tight plaid shirt, short, slim stature, literally looked me up and down when I walked up inquiring about a table. He looked down at my sneakers, then back up to my face. He wasn't even shy about it. That was very rude and uncomfortable. I guess my sneakers, leggings and hoody were underdressed for you? I didn't see any notice about a dress code, and I simply was walking on Fairmount and was hungry and decided to stop and sit. Which I'm sure is common with guests since Fairmount has a lot of walking traffic. He didn't seem to give any funny eyes to the couple who sat down at their table with a huge German Shepard in their lap that was very obviously not a service dog as he was sniffing other patrons tables and jumping on his owner.

I certainly wouldn't return for the customer service. It's lacking.

Fairly excellent atmosphere, service, and food. Prices are fair for the area, though larger portion would be appreciated. Highly recommend the mushroom flatbread for mushroom lovers. It's quite excellent.

I was quite surprised by the treatment I received at this recommended establishment, especially considering its reputation. During the brief 10 minutes I spent there, I encountered a hostess with a dismissive attitude who seemed to have prejudged me based on my ethnicity. Furthermore, I was taken aback by a disrespectful comment made by an individual associated with the establishment. This experience left me feeling disheartened and undervalued.

I was quite perplexed by the manner in which my interview unfolded. It seemed as though there was a presumption of me being underqualified, and there was an implicit suggestion that I lacked understanding of the role(s) by questioning my own proficiencies. I am uncertain whether I encountered the owner on an unfortunate day, but that does not justify him taking it out on me. It is worth noting that I was recommended by a highly regarded acquaintance, a testament to my capacity to contribute to the success of your business. I take immense pride in my Mexican heritage. It struck me that the individuals who appeared to be exerting the most effort were those belonging to “minority” groups. In contrast, the waitstaff seemed to be congregating around the register.

I departed from the interview permeated with a sense of indignation and disillusionment. The entire encounter has significantly recalibrated my expectations regarding the standard of service and professionalism. This has sparked a contemplation about whether individuals from minority groups are accorded fair treatment.

Service was pitiful last night. After seating, it took 32 mins to get drinks. It was quicker to get a second drink from the bar since our waitress didn’t check in on us. Octopus appetizer took 1 hour 20 mins. Main courses didn’t show up until 1 hour 35 mins. Zero apology or accountability from our waitress or managerial staff for food/drink service taking so long. On top of all of this, inside seating was half full. I cannot recommend this restaurant as long as these issues persist.

Very nice place not far from the art museum. Relaxed environment, indoor or outdoor courtyard seating. No more choice of alcohol. I can't review the food as we only drank.

Visited on a Saturday evening, with a 6:45 reservation. Place was about 1/3 full at the time. Staff was attentive at first taking our drink and food order. Then we sat .. for an hour with no one checking on us, no "do you want another drink", and no food. We finally waved down the staff to ask when we might expect our food, were told "only a few more minutes". Our food finally arrived, a good hour after we originally ordered.Food was average at best once received, steak was undercooked, caesar salad was brown, chicken had no flavor at all. Substituted two sides for a "small caesar salad" and was charged $6 extra.Low marks due to inattentive staff, manager indifference and average at best food at the end.

I had the flank steak with Chimichurri and the chimichurri tasted like grass. Quite literally. The potatoes where bland even with the sauce on it. The muscles had flavor but had no sauce, so basically muscles with vegetables and garlic butter. As for the service our waitress took 20 minutes to come back to our table after handing us the check. Would not recommend eating here and we paid an outrageous amount for the quality.

The food was good, but my partner and I both ordered the special Wagyu burgers… ordered medium. One was rare, one was medium well. Flavor was good, but missed the mark. The price doesn’t seem to justify the loud bar like atmosphere and slow service.

It gets a 5/5 for food alone, really awesome dishes although some presentation was quirky (really large pepper on top of the burger bun??)Bar and Christmas decor looked cool but dining area itself was kind of plain

Fare staff was very friendly and accommodating. Place was decorated so nice for the holidays. The flat bread pizza is what we ordered. Wow! It was 10/10!
