Such a beautiful place with a selection of beautiful beers. They also host a rather delicious Peruvian food counter. Tonight I only popped in for a swift drink after work, but thanks to the excellent bar staff (which, tonight, included the owner herself) I'm still here, while there is a very popular quizzo underway. One of the best aspects of Manayunk.

Went to see comedy with some friends from Boston. We stopped downstairs while people were playing board games. WWE was on a few TVs but no one was paying attention to TVs. We asked if the bartender guy could change or turn a tv on to the final minutes of Celtics playoff game. He said, No! I asked why not? He responded, we don’t play sports at the bar on Monday. I’ve been there and watch basketball on Mondays before the playoffs. My friend said, wrestling is a sport. The bartender got upset and said, “wrestling is not a sport it’s entertainment. Under no circumstances will I turn on basketball for you. Stop asking!” This was a disturbing interaction. What bar refuses to turn on sports during the playoffs.

Super easy to work with as we planned our laid-back welcome drinks for our wedding weekend. The upstairs space was perfect for us and it was easy to coordinate bringing in catering. Would recommend to anyone looking for a chill and private space to host an event!
