What an adorable place with such deliciousness! The chocolate covered strawberries are AMAZING and the owner/employees are absolutely lovely. Not only are there so many yummy chocolate treats to choose from, there is also an ice cream case with custom cones. I had the chance to talk to the owner, Angel who was an absolute doll as was the employee, Lucy. The place is just so cute and I can not wait to try more. My dentist may not be happy with me, but my sweet tooth and tummy surely will be!

I ordered a soft serve cone with jimmies and the woman that served me (blonde hair and glasses) gave me the sloppiest ice cream cone with jimmies maybe covering 1/4 of it. I then asked for a cup to put it in since it was so messy, and after I paid I heard her talking to her coworker about how I should’ve said I wanted a cup before she made it. Ice cream was fine but bad service.

I stopped into Favors & Flavors during the Passyunk food festival this past weekend. To my delight they actually had vegan ice cream! My first shock was being told as they rang it up that 2 scoops cost $8 AND a .42¢ service charge! Then to my immense dismay, as I left the shop and pulled out my spoon from the ice-cream I saw the ice-cream was covered in ice-crystals!! It was old and tasted old. It was quite awful. I should have returned to the shop and asked for a refund but did not want to wait another 25 minutes in line while the 4 friendly but very disorganized staff tripped over each other attempting to serve the same individual waiting in line, rather than figuring out who was to do what job to get the line served and out the door. Horrible service, but worse is their offering of out of date, over-priced, vegan ice cream--an entire pint in grocery stores is $4.99. OR just make your own. There are tons of excellent recipes online. Will never return and will make sure all my vegan friends know never to go there. Hope they get organized and pay attention to quality. It's what brings us customers back.

I went in today to get some chocolates for Easter. I waited with my items in hand, after already waiting for two other people ahead of me to check out. I was going to ask for additional chocolate covered pretzels once I got to the counter. However, when I got to the counter to make my purchase and ask for the additional items. The cashier (a white women with blonde hair) never acknowledged me. So I stood there with my items in hand as she preoccupied herself with fixing receipts and other papers at the cash register. Then a young white man came in and stood beside me, she looked up and smile and said how can I help you...to the person that had just walked in, despite me being in the store for almost 10mins. I then placed my items down on the counter and began to leave. As I was leaving, another customer that was sitting in the store said to me " I saw that" and I replied " I did too", and walked out. VERY MEDIOCRE ICE CREAM! I wouldn't be surprised if it was something just bought from a grocery store. The Cheesecake was good though...even though they weren't sure what flavor it was, it definitely didn't taste like what they said. Let me not forget that the lids for their ice cream cups didn't even fit nor did they have lids for the cups that should fit. The children had to throw their ice cream away. Never again.... there's potential a better shop a few doors down, we'll try that next.
