We love to order from here on half days(school group) using the Fink's Hoagie Day group order. It is a great deal, our orders are always correct, even with numerous specifications, and they deliver!

As a native Philadelphian, I have always been on the hunt for an authentic hoagie that truly captures the essence of my beloved city. I am thrilled to have discovered Fink's Hoagies, a hidden gem that has quickly become my go-to spot for a taste of home. From the moment you step into Fink's, you are greeted with the irresistible aroma of freshly baked bread. The attention to detail is evident in every aspect of their hoagies, from the perfectly toasted roll to the generous portions of high-quality meats and cheeses. Each bite is a symphony of flavors that transport me back to the streets of Philadelphia. One of my favorite hoagies at Fink's is their classic Italian. The combination of thinly sliced prosciutto, genoa salami, and capicola, layered with provolone cheese and topped with lettuce, tomato, and onions, is simply divine. The meats are expertly seasoned and the ingredients are always fresh, resulting in a hoagie that is bursting with flavor.Another standout option is the roast pork hoagie. The slow-roasted pork is tender and juicy, complemented perfectly by the sharpness of the provolone cheese and the tanginess of the broccoli rabe. This hoagie is a true testament to Fink's commitment to using only the finest ingredients. What sets Fink's apart from other hoagie shops is their dedication to authenticity. Every hoagie is made with love and care, just like they would be in the heart of Philadelphia. The staff at Fink's is friendly and knowledgeable, always willing to offer recommendations or answer any questions you may have.In addition to their exceptional hoagies, Fink's also offers a variety of sides and desserts that are not to be missed. The homemade potato salad is the perfect accompaniment to any hoagie, while their freshly baked cookies provide a sweet ending to a satisfying meal.Whether you're a Philly native longing for a taste of home or simply a hoagie enthusiast looking for the real deal, Fink's Hoagies is the place to go. Their commitment to quality and authenticity shines through in every bite, making it a must-visit destination for any hoagie lover.

I was excited to try this place but it was a letdown. The meat is super thick on hoagies and more like slabs of meat which I don’t care for. Prices are super cheap and roll was best part.

Layout/atmosphere*Small shop; pictures of sandwiches on the wall plus the accolades the place has received; owner Dennis Fink was there (USMC veteran); no tip jar instead veteran’s fundraiser; only potato chips & water besides the menu itemsService*QuickFood/drink*Original Italian (cotechino, Genoa salami, ham capocollo, pepperoni, provolone/chopped, olive spread, lettuce, tomato, red onion & long hot peppers on sesame bread) - Good; huge portion; get the spicy from the long hot, the salt & pepper from the meats, freshness from lettuce & tomato, acidity from onions & olives, sharpness of the cheese*The Tacony (roast beef, asparagus, provolone, balsamic vinegar, special seasonings) - good*The Holmesburg (prosciutto, roasted peppers, roasted garlic, provolone cheese, oil & vinegar, special seasonings) - good[All sandwiches came with a peppermint candy]

First time trying a hoagie from here. Cool price wise. I got an Italian hoagie and was able to customize my hoagie how I wanted to. I get home, noticed the sesame bread is hard, barely any toppings/lettuce. I understood because I went 30 minutes before closing. As I eat the hoagie with my daughter she pulls out a big chunk of meat and said "Mom this isn't Salami". Not sure what it was but it wasn't cut thin as hoagie meat usually is. Overall, friendly staff, but I'll just continue to go to Wilson's and get my good hoagies from there instead of being lazy not wanting to drive.UPDATE TO OWNER RESPONSE UNDER MY REVIEW:No where did I lie. I SIMPLY stated my child said it wasn't salami. I then stated I wasn't sure what kind of meat it was and how it wasn't cut as thin as the other meat on my sandwich was. Given your snarky reply no wonder the hoagie was trash. Not everyone will like what you create. Get over it.

I definitely do not like the rolls and spreads but the cold cuts are borderline delicious and always fresh. Dirty store. Rapidly declining neighborhood. Competitive prices. Slow service. Very limited street parking. Worth a trip to see for yourself. I have friends who love these hoagies.
