We continued our Christmas-themed Tuesday afternoon bar crawl at Finn McCool's Ale House in downtown Philadelphia. The Christmas theme and decorations were excellent, but the drinks were rather pricy, and they didn't serve any food. Make sure you stop in for some great pictures and maybe a boozy hot chocolate, and you can keep the mug, but move on quickly to Philly's other Christmas-themed bars!
Excellent pub my wife and I really enjoyed our time in this pub the staff were fantastic and paul from Dublin was very friendly and welcoming when we arrived in the Philadelphia and he was very attentive to our needs thankyou for everything and we cannot wait to return

A great sports bar for the locals, many TV screens from every angle. Shout out to Matt, our amazing and hilarious bartender. He was really on top of things. He remembered our preferences and gave us out of towners some recommendations for our visit. Much appreciated! There is also a yelp check in deal for a Washington apple shot. It was tasty! I enjoyed a few Jameson + Orange slices here. It was a great night.

Stopped in solo for dinner as I was staying down the street for work. Very cool old-school Philly vibe. Most people there when I stopped in were having a beer or grabbing a bite...but almost all were watching the Phiilies game. My waiter had the Philly attitude in a good way; and was friendly and helped me pick something off the menu. Solid beer selection, plus a good selection of spirits and cocktails. Buffalo wings were great. Quality wings that had heat but not overwhelming. The burger was just as good, if unspectacular. Prices were reasonable considering its center-city Philadelphia. I would definitely come back, as the food was good and the vibe seemed to embody Philly.
