Service was attentive and thoughtful. Dishes were creative and flavorful. My Italian father raved about the quality of Nonna's meatballs. He couldn't believe that they were vegan. He also enjoyed the broccoli which he doesn't like typically. The way everything. The decor is also very stylish while also welcoming.
Fantastic food great diverse menu with delicious Wholefoods and truly plant based options. Unique recipes fresh ingredients and delicious cocktails. The service was great. The server was down to earth relatable and informative. The space was larger than expected and quite comfortable. The noise level was perfect nearly no noise actually, but did not make you feel isolated. I heard great things prior to going however, my experience exceeded expectation. For the quality of the menu in comparison to comparable restaurants this place beats many of them out - highly recommended.
Delicious vegan food. Large menu selections. Service was fun and friendly. Third time there. It's a favorite vegan dinning spot.
A charming setting with exceptionally good service and above all unexpectedly delicious food from the cocktails through the tapas to a main dish and desserts, everything had wonderfully balanced flavors and was presented beautifully. And it was reasonably priced. Overall highly recommend.
I went to Fitz on 4th with a couple of friends and we had a lovely experience. Our server was very kind and informative. The food was all delicious, though we especially enjoyed the corn rib special and the crabcakes. The drinks were lovely too. I also want to note that though I made the reservation for two, my friend's wife was able to join us last-minute, and the restaurant was very accommodating, which I appreciated.
We were celebrating my daughter's birthday. We enjoyed the restaurant's atmosphere, the food, the staff and the overall vibe! She told me she felt very special and everyone shared their food. A great time was had by all!
Lovely menu with nice specials. I ate here a few months ago and feel like they have elevated their choices and quality. Can't wait to go back.
How does one get to heaven? Who knows? Perhaps by being good, helping others, and being kind to animals. But if you’re looking for vegan heaven, simply punch in 743 S 4th St., Philadelphia, PA into your GPS, and you’ll arrive at Fitz on 4th, where the goddess of vegan cuisine, Chef Alison, reigns supreme. Before indulging in her amazing plant-based gastronomic delights, you’ll be warmly greeted by the staff. Each person possesses a unique charm that makes you feel like part of a family (one you actually like! 🙂) The wonderful hospitality experience perfectly complements the incredible organic, fresh, farm-to-table ingredients that create the delectable ambrosia of Chef Alison’s unique creations. Having grown up in an Italian environment in Brooklyn, which I believe is the cradle of Italian cuisine in the diaspora, I can graciously cede that title to this cozy, creative corner in Philadelphia. Nonna meatballs are nothing short of magical—unlike anything you’ve ever tasted, whether from the vegan freezer section of your supermarket or any other restaurant. The quality, taste, and consistency are truly mind-blowing, as are all of her dishes. Prepare to be amazed! This is a place where you can soothe your soul, please your palate, and leave eagerly anticipating your next visit to Chef Alison’s Fitz on 4th nestled in the heart of the Queen Village neighborhood.
The crispy broccoli was a surprise favorite. It's a treat to try so many unique dishes I'd be unlikely to attempt and couldn't replicate at home.
Wow. Amazing food! Try everything

I’m so happy I found this place! It is always great to find a fully vegan place but this one is extra delightful. Not only was the place so cute and staff so friendly- the food was delicious (even according to my non vegan date). I have a nut allergy so sometimes this is difficult to navigate at restaurants but they were incredibly helpful and there was plenty on the menu for me to try.
Run, don't walk. This place was incredible for our minimoon and we loved every choice on their menu. Things were prompt and delicious and the environment was awesome.
Great overall experience 👍🏾 the vibes were chill and classy. The food was good usually not a fan of tapas style dining but this was the best experience I've had. Our waiter was great, knowledgeable, personable and good mix of being attentive but not smothering.
Such a cute and cozy corner spot! Chill indoor vibes with a beautiful mural and upbeat music.
Came with a mix of vegan and non-vegan family — even the picky eaters were seriously impressed. Everyone left with a new favorite dish!
What stood out to me most was how clean and satisfying everything tasted. I’ve had vegan food in the past that leaves a strange aftertaste — this was not that. Every bite was fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully prepared. I also really appreciated the commitment to using locally sourced ingredients. It’s clear that care and quality are at the heart of everything here. Truly delicious from start to finish!
Loved it! First time eating at a vegan restaurant. No words can express how good the food is!
