The issue stems from the hostess service. I added our name for a party of 3 to the waitlist and was told there were two tables of 3 ahead of us. We got in line, waited for over 45 minutes just to have a table of 3 that had arrived 10 minutes after us get seated before we did. This was a result of the group having a personal relationship with the hostess. When I questioned the hostess she denied it. We were then made to wait 10 minutes longer for another table to open up. Very disappointing.

It seems this place likes to intimate and harass patrons who don’t have the same political ideology as them. Trashy.

Meh food. Trashy service if they don’t believe in the same politics as you

Expect terrible service if you have different politics than the owners

I visited this place two times the first time I ordered the Crembrule Pancakes (switched the berries for bananas) with orange juice and it was delicious so good that I decided to visit a second time with a friend who had never heard of the place and the 2nd time I ordered the same thing, my Pancakes were so crispy that it was hard to enjoy and all the cream wouldn't even soften it. My friend was also disappointed in the amount of food that was served on his plate. The eggs and potatoes were served in very small portions he was still hungry. Long story short, he's not letting me pick breakfast spots again! I felt bad because the first time everything was so good, I thought we would've had a great experience the second time. I wanted to bring my daughters here to try the Pancakes I raved about the first time but after the 2nd experience I might not because I would want them to enjoy their food/ experience not look at me like I'm crazy for bringing them here like my friend did! That was embarrassing

It's one of my favorites for breakfast. You can't go wrong with this choice at any time for food.

Breakfast is excellent ?. I wish they had less parking and a larger & nicer outdoor eating area. The weather for eating outside was great, but surrounded by a parking lot was not.

One of the best well known breakfast spots in Philly, worth the wait, worth the cash only. Prices are just low food is just great and the restaurant is adorable. In my opinion, the best breakfast maybe tied with Alice and Morning Glory
We ordered the strawberry crunch pancakes, crab cakes and English muffin, and breakfast borrico *chef’s kiss*

Charming neighborhood cafe. A small menu with a good selection of breakfast and lunch items. Vegetarian options, but few for dairy allergy. A comfortable atmosphere. Cash only.

Lovely, homey neighborhood diner with delicious, ample breakfast dishes. The air is sweet with the smell of freshly squeezed orange juice. Cash only.
The spicy eggs and potatoes are great, as are the pancakes and French toast. I recommend the cafe breakfast to get a taste of both savory and sweet!
