Amazing customer service ! Tre and Pat were really friendly and helpful. The vibes here are really good, this place is perfect for practicing golf as a beginner and as a professional. They have very high tech and top notch equipments and screens. The membership is very affordable and they have a bar with food and drinks. I highly recommend coming here individually or with a group.
My friends and I took a small group lesson with Halle! It was a wonderful lesson and my friends and I had a lot of fun learning. Halle did a great job at making golf approachable and easy to learn. I also love that we weren’t overwhelmed with information. Halle did a great job at creating an environment that made us felt welcome to ask any questions too. We would definitely do it again!
I have been a member of Five Iron for almost three years now. I began my membership at Rittenhouse before switching to Fishtown. I really enjoy Five Iron and the convenience of being able to practice my swing in the city, however there are a number of things that could use some serious improvement at the Fishtown location in particular.
Recently, particularly in evenings, the service seems to have declined significantly. Staff bring their children in while working and leave them to run around unattended. Trap music is blasted so loud you can't have a conversation. The technology is frequently unreliable and not working. When I place food/beverage orders I usually have to follow up multiple times before it's delivered, otherwise it isn't delivered at all. The quality of the food varies drastically by day and there is no consistency around how items are served or what is available on the menu. When the food finally comes, utensils and napkins are never provided and no one ever follows up. There seems to be no shortage of staff but they are completely inattentive and are often blaring their own music playlists, playing on the simulators and ignoring customers.
I have played in many leagues at Fishtown as well and they seem to be in complete disarray. There is no integrity around score keeping and handicaps, it’s never clear what the weekly format is or how to set it up, and the staff couldn’t be bothered with questions.
Overall the facility is nice and I continue to go here simply for the convenience but for almost $300 per month I would expect a better experience.
JASON was very helpful and helped me nail the basics
Sliders are TOP TEIR, a must! Best burger I had all year
I got a lesson for my dad at the Fishtown location with Halle Clark. He had a great time and told me that it was the most constructive hour of golf he's ever had. It was his first lesson and I am sure he will be back. I watched the lesson and Halle was very patient and a detailed instructor. He is still rewatching the video Halle sent over to this day! Halle was a great instructor and made the entire process a delightful experience, thanks for making my present to him so special!
The atmosphere and service are top notch. The membership is a very good deal for serious golfers who want to practice multiple times a week. The place can be fun for groups and non-golfers as well. I just wish they added a chipping area and a more sophisticated putting green (i.e. Putt View technology).
Got a lesson here from Cory and he was the man — learned a ton in a super easy way
This place is awesome! The guys that were working on 9/9/24 deserve a raise! I would definitely recommend
Always a great time - today was practice and a round. My game has definitely improved. Thanks to Cory Reilly for his instruction.

Been taking lessons here for about 2 months now. Best indoor golf facility I have been in. Easy parking, clean, good music and staff is all cool. Trackman tech is all new and up to date and golf instructors are phenomenal.
I've taken lessons with quite a few different instructors over the past 2 decades. Tried a little bit of everything and nobody has been able to help me fix the mental hurdles that constantly sabotage my golf game. Took a Flyer on buying a lesson package here hoping to just fix a few glaring issues to play respectably in a golf trip I had planned. Enter Corey.. Hands down the best golf instructor I've ever had. I'm probably 7 or 8 lessons in and he had me STRIPING long irons earlier tonight. It's been a looooong time since I felt that 5 go flush over and over. Last year I was ready to quit golf all together. Now I'm taking swings in my living room as I write this post. 5 out of 5 stars all day.
This place is awesome staff/bartender (tra)in Philly is amazingly friendly. Will definitely be back
Big improvement. Helped a lot with correcting the slice. Highly recommend
Positives: the simulators were really good.
Negatives: We were told food and drink were message him you have about two but bring a change of clothes cause I wanna find somewhere to go after work either there lifetime available. Ordered food, got charged for food, dude comes over after waiting 30 mins and tells us they have no food and no chef, apparently he quit but no one ever told us til we asked the status of our food. Refunds us, but we were hungry. Then dude comes over and gives attitude about drink orders. Wrong credit card was on the ordering iPad for food and drinks so we tell the manager someone else’s card is on file and got charged for our order. They said “unless the cardholder calls we really can’t do anything”… so around $50 was on a strangers card who was there before us even though we attempted to change the card. Simulators and music were cool but just expected more.
The place was awesome and the employees were even better. I’ll definitely be recommending this place to my buddies.
