I had the pleasure of dining at Fond this evening. The food was wonderful and the atmosphere has a great vibe. I’m also glad to see that they were able to retain the excellent staff of the former restaurant housed in the same space. Now onto the deets. After settling in and sipping our wine, rather than the standard bread or other free offerings, the waitress brought over two shots of warm mushroom shrimp bisque for the table—delicious. All the apps looked good so we randomly chose the moist and flavorful short rib rillettes and the Tuna Crudo—the pleasant heat tempered by a cloud of coconut broth. The theme of the menu was butternut squash and I chose the salmon and butternut squash risotto—delicately flavored with the salmon cooked perfectly. My partner chose the Lamb Kafka and enjoyed it immensely. Finally, we shared the butternut squash creme brûlée which came with a generous dollop of cardamom whipped cream cheese—thoroughly enjoyed this and not a word was spoken until the dish was clean 😂. Lots of parking at this Delco location, gluten friendly, BYOB…so check out the menu and if you like what you see I highly recommend you give them a try—you won’t be disappointed.
Wonderful food with very accommodating staff. Cocktails and appetizers were excellent! Loved the bar!
What a great find! The food was delicious and Ian took excellent care of us. We will be back!
The food was delicious. However, the bartender was AWFUL. He got most of the drinks wrong and then lied about it. Items asked for were never received. Other servers had to keep correcting his mess. It's sad because the food was very good.
The food, staff, and ambiance were all fantastic! One of my favorite restaurants I'm the city. Attention to detail and warmth aptly describe Fond
Fantastic brunch spot if you are looking for hearty dishes with modern flair. The best shrimp and grits I have had! Great service as well as ambiance; you can get lost in conversation here.
We had a magical experience at Fond From the moment we got to the door we were treated like family. The service was extremely friendly, very, very knowledgeable and fun. I had the best martini of my life with a local vodka called Stateside. My main course of skate wing with a corn risotto was magical. Ed had the pork belly which he loved. Kudos to the brilliant chef and all those that made us have such an enjoyable evening. We cannot wait to return
Food was fantastic. Love this place.
Nice experience and food.
Food was delicious, plated beautifully, and the staff couldn't have been more friendly. We really enjoyed our visit and will definitely be back again.

Low key some of the best food in Philly. Excellent service and drinks. One of my favorite things about this place is the "bartender's choice," where you feel them flavors/alcohols you like and they make something special. The drink he made was one of the best I've ever had.
The waitresses are not attentive and they all look unfriendly. The menu lacks any options for anyone who's not looking for bacon/pork. The cocktails lacked decent ingredients such as Egg White.

Tasty cocktails and excellent food with large portions for what the types of food are. A great value. The chicken liver mousse was excellent.
Went here for a friend's birthday and had an absolute blast! Alex and Bella were fantastic and Mike the bartender made a drink to match my colorful shirt. Overall, infinity/infinity service! One of the best times I had in a long time, love them!!
