Great place for brunch. The food was amazing. The service was spot on. I would bring my family back to this place again and again.
Our server was nice but would've been nicer if asked about food allergies as we heard the other table being asked. But overall it was nice my portion was a bit small for lunch serving but very delicious. I think we would be in agreement to try this place at dinner time.
I went to Fork with my fiancée for her birthday, and the whole experience was excellent. The food was absolutely delicious, and when we had an issue Our waiter, Casey, did an amazing job—super attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed explained things well to us and also was very helpful with my allergies pointing out what i can have and what they can do for me to be able to have it. He did amazing job even with the minor issues happening they fixed it quick and made things better this place is a beautiful place to eat and well worth checking out i highly recommend it Management also went out of their way to make sure my fiancée had a great birthday. They really made the night feel special. Overall, a fantastic experience and definitely a place we'll come back to.
Great staff that's making some great food. If you're ok with a louder crowd and more of a old school vibe, you'll like it there
Outstanding, amazing food!!! Perfect drinks!! Service was exceptional from a hostess to a waiter! Great experience, will definitely dine there again
Fork was a lovely experience--refined without being stuffy--with well-executed food and an inviting atmosphere. Our table ordered oysters and veal sweetbreads (don't be deterred by what you may think sweetbreads taste like!) to start, then two fish and two pasta (made in-house) dishes as mains, which were all delicious. We also ordered the sesame chocolate cake and semifreddo desserts, the portion sizes of which allowed for full enjoyment even after two full courses prior. Overall, I would recommend Fork for its wonderful service, tasty food, and upscale but cozy ambience.
Wonderful service and amazing food! Always a delight to experience the constantly changing menu at Fork
Our brunch experience exceeded our expectations. From our arrival a few minutes early, being pleasantly greeted and seated away from the cold entryway to a quiet spot intended for waiting, then our jackets politely being wisked away. Our server was not only pleasant, but had a fabulous personality. There was a good selection of n/a creative cocktails, my ginger pear caramel delight was a perfect brunch accompaniment. The food came out much quicker than we expected. The mushroom benedict was delicious, the brown butter hollandaise just might be the reason for another 4.5 hour drive as I don't think I can recreate it...amazing. my husband is a very picky eater and had pre-chosen his meal, it was not on the current menu, instead he chose the grilled cheese and apple sandwich and broccoli soup, it came with a side salad. The dressing on his salad was just right, he isnt a salad eater but I enjoyed it and he even had a few bites, his sandwich was nothing he had ever had before or would have ever considered, but was perfection. We sadly did not have room for what looked like a great dessert selection, perhaps next time dessert first?
Pasta was exceptional. The Cod left something to be desired. Didn't taste good to have it wrapped in bacon. Overall it was good but not worth the money in my opinion.
This place was a surprise in so many ways. My daughter and I love going out to a good meal, I visit from Baltimore, she lives in Philly. Perhaps we just elevated our selection with Fork! Our server was delightful, and helpful. The team is lovely: I like that we saw and talked to our server when we needed to and the other team members checked on us, without being invasive—we felt cared for.
It’s impressive that Fork has been here for 26 years and looks so fresh, tidy, and architecturally interesting. The booth we sat in with glass seperately is clever and I felt like I stepped back into Philly’s long history.
Thank you, for a lovely evening

We had a disappointing brunch experience here (10/11/2025).
First issue — the only bartender was also our server, and he was too busy with drink orders to give us attentive service. Aside from taking our order, he never checked in, and it was difficult to flag him down when we needed something. At one point, another server had to step in to help.
Second issue — my husband’s steak and eggs came out rare when he ordered medium. It’s unclear whether the bartender entered it incorrectly or the kitchen made a mistake, but since the steak was sliced and visibly rare, it never should’ve been served that way if the order was entered correctly.
Third issue — when the kitchen “fixed” it, they reheated the steak slices and brought them back on the same plate, where the scrambled eggs and potatoes were now lukewarm. For a restaurant of this caliber, the entire dish should’ve been remade. Reheating food that’s already been served and putting it back on the same plate is a food safety risk, which is especially disappointing for a restaurant that boasts of being a James Beard Foundation award winner.
Fourth issue — our bartender/server never mentioned the issue to the manager. He delivered the check without an apology or any acknowledgement of what went wrong. I ended up requesting to speak to a manager, and the manager was clearly surprised about everything that happened. To his credit, the manager apologized profusely and comped our entire meal, even though the only menu item I wanted comped was the steak and eggs.
I appreciate how the manager handled it and made things right, but I’m honestly surprised a restaurant with this reputation had so many basic service and food handling issues.

Always like a place with an open kitchen. Staff was attentive and professional and the dishes were very good and had their own twists.

The food was just not up to the standards expected of a restaurant like Fork. My hamburger was the greasiest, sloppiest, and most difficult to manage I can ever remember. Our server, Abby, on the other hand was wonderful: patient, accommodating, generous, and kind.
Have been going to Fork for years and love it! Food is consistently good, and the service is even better. A good vibe throughout. Their coffee is outstanding, one of the main reasons I go back. Market Street in front of the restaurant is under construction so on street parking is a little more challenging but for brunch on a Sunday, not too bad.
