poutine is SO salty. but i've started asking them for no salt on the fries and it's significantly improved. it's basically the only place to get poutine in philly ever since smoke's closed. i go whenever i'm having the craving. :-)
Located inside Reading Terminal Market, this is a gluten free haven! They also have vegan options. The corn dogs are delicious and the funnel cake is amazing. Worth the trip to Philadelphia just to experience the yumminess. They also ship the funnel cake flour and corn dog mix so you can make it at home. It was just as tasty as the restaurant!

Check your food before you leave. We paid extra for strawberries and when we opened our box there was none. This was for my friend’s birthday and we came all the way from Maryland. This place charges for everything if you ask for a lil of barbecue sauce for your fries they charge $1. What happened to 50 cent or free. That’s the standard. We asked for whip cream on the side for the funnel and it was super tiny as well not bigger than a quarter—-very stingy. I never seen anything like it. The food is not good and they over charge eg. one funnel cake with missing sides was $15.24. If I’m in town, I would not come back here.

So far we’ve had the corn dog, the Korean dog, the poutine, funnel cake and fried Oreos. (Next time we’ll try the onions and pickles) Of the dogs, I think I preferred the classic corn dog better, but the Korean dog was a very close second. Both super tasty. The poutine was disappointing. The curds were firm cubes. (Probably follow your heart block) The gravy made everything soggy. I noticed the funnel cake had a much better texture after it cools a little. (This is the theory behind gluten free baked goods too. It’s still cooking inside, cutting too early and you get a gummy texture) The Oreos were a little disappointing. But I did order them at the end of the day. It might have been the fact that I was getting the dregs of the batter and that’s why they stayed squishy. (I also didn’t open the box until at least 15 minutes later. Maybe they steamed themselves too much. With the funnel cake, we opened the box immediately, so it didn’t get a chance to get soggy.)
Had to take a detour on our way home through downtown Philly and had to stop here and get some of their Gluten Free Corn Dogs and Cheese Curds! We ordered online and they waited till we arrived to make the fried cheese so that it was fresh! To say they have excellent customer service is an understatement and their GF foods are amazing!

I’m new to Philly and have heard such great things about this spot. I was not disappointed. Their menu is very fairly priced compared to other gluten free food I’ve had around Philly. Their Black Cherry Elderberry lemonade was so good and worth every penny! I will be back to try more items and to continue to support.

The best standing Reading Terminal BY FAR. The food quality is HIGH - everything is getting expensive but the quality has NEVER dipped here. Best corn dogs you’ll ever have. Fresh squeezed no fake sweetener or watered down lemonade. The fries are cut in house and everything is well seasoned, gluten free, and just downright amazing. And to top it off the staff is SO friendly, well educated in the stand’s offerings and in allergies, and just really wonderful to interact with. Also - chef and co-owner Rebecca has been on CHOPPED!!! How cool is that!?!??? 100000/10 an absolute MUST if you’re in Philadelphia

Always so good and great customer service. You get what you pay for and if you think $6 for a good quality lemonade is a lot maybe you should stick to cheap country time

I had Fox & Son catering delivered for my engagement party and it was incredible! Everyone raved about the corn dogs and fries. Fox & Son is such a gem for gluten free eats in the city! A must for any celiac.

Have never not enjoyed my food from fox and sons, but their prices have gotten out of hand lately; for ex: $6 for lemonade (it is good lemonade) is a bit insane especially bc that’s almost double what they used to charge. I get it once in a blue moon now bc it’s hard to justify spending that on a drink
