Popped by to get some vegan funnel cake as a treat this week. As I remembered, this is very heavy on the banana, which I don't mind (I love bananas!) but that does make these funnel cakes VERY dense.
These are also cooked in the same oil as everything else, so there is a lot of risk for cross-contamination.

The vegan corndog is delicious! It is the perfect amount of salt and flavoring with a beautiful covering with a tasty beyond sausage filling. The vegan poutine I didn't love because the cheese curds did not have a lot of flavor and had a little strange texture.

We tried the vegan poutine which as another person noted is just chunks of vegan cheese with a mushroom/tomato gravy. I was underwhelmed by this- we were hungry so we ate up but probably would have preferred plain fries. We also got the vegan corn dog which was as advertised with a plant based Italian sausage. We also tried the seasonal spiced cranberry lemonade. Everything was fine but nothing super and they were out of the banana based funnel cake option so we couldn’t try that.

Did not enjoy their “cheese curds”. Tasted a lot more like greasy balls of low-quality fried cheese as opposed to actual cheese curds, which are flavorful, firm, and delicious.

Located in the Reading Market, this place is likely overlooked at times, but the food is very good and cooked to order. We enjoyed both corn dogs that we ordered.

I always make sure to stop at Fox & Son when I am in the Reading Terminal Market, so I decided to reach out with a catering request for a work volunteer event. We needed vegetarian, vegan, and dairy-free options and the catering menu covered all those bases! Rebecca was quick to reply to the catering request and helped me to put together a great package that fit our budget for the event. The day of, there was excellent communication for the delivery. The food arrived hot, and it was a huge hit with our volunteers! Everything was delicious, but the mini funnel cakes were an especially fun treat! I will definitely be using Fox & Son for future events.

One of the few places I can get junk food that's gluten free that doesn't taste like a hot pile of garbage. It's a little overpriced, but again you can't beat it for where it's located and for what the offering is. The only thing that kind of sucks is that it's often very crowded there. And when you're waiting for your food, you're like in the middle of everywhere and everybody's in the way. But the customer service is amazing and is worth it every time

This is my favorite place to eat inside Reading terminal market. Their chorizo fries are delightful, and the cheese curds cannot be beaten. I strongly encourage anyone who has gluten sensitivity to try their food! All of it!
