I love buttercream donuts! And travel 25 miles to get them from here as they are the closest I have found to a childhood bakery that made the absolute best ones closed decades ago. My only frustration is that the taste and consistency are touch and go each visit.

Classic South Philly bakery. It’s our favorite. When my adult kids come over for dinner, they ask if we can pick up Frangelli’s for dessert. A twisty donut with a hot cup of coffee is like heaven!

They were meh, nothing special. Its too bad they are located in a run down neighborhood.

Great experience! Amazing donuts! Very Kind staff! Will be going again in the future and hopefully using for special events.

Easter Bread is our new thing. Their donuts are super fresh and they use old fashion hand pumps on their Jelly donuts. They are filled to order.

Decent donuts but I do not recommend the croissant donuts. They are more than double the price and they are not croissants. Not a single layer in it, slightly different than the regular donut but the texture was just like another doughy bread.

Came here looking for a donut on a Saturday morning and they have a customer for life. Possibly the best donut I have ever had. Highly recommend the glazed donuts. Get at least two. One isn't enough!

I’m no expert on cannoli but I thought this was better than the cannoli at Termini Bros. Both were very good, but the ricotta was noticeably more fresh at Frangelli’s. Also, that cannoli donut is out of this world. 10/10.

I bought a coconut cream pie on Wednesday for Thanksgiving. The inside of the pie tasted ok. The crust was hard as stone.

I love them and their desserts are the best but I thought I could trust their work. I ordered GRUBHUB cake from them and the first time it was so nice. This time I ordered a cake with an inspirational message for my friend who was having a rough week and it looks like a 7 year old wrote on it. I also asked for purple and it’s this ugly dark blue color that makes no sense on chocolate icing. I was so embarrassed that they would send this knowing it’s a gift for someone. I can guarantee if I had to go pick it up in front of them they’d never ever hand this quality over to someone but they’ll send it to someone’s home when they know it’s a gift meant to help someone? I am so disappointed and embarrassed. Never again.
