The staff here are excellent. They are friendly and attentive. Robert is THE BEST!! The night we went was the opening night for their new restaurant so I'm sure a few things were being worked out. I had the fish and chips which was excellent. My friend had the butternut risotto and the flavor was delicious, but consistency was dry rather than the expected moist risotto. We will definitely go back.
This restaurant is a hotel restaurant. I am not judging it for that, however when checking in to be seated, the hostess stand was unclear and we were left waiting for some time before acknowledged. We were running 15 minutes late for my 11:30AM reservation and was told upon arrival that they wouldn't be only serving lunch. A bit disappointing since I scheduled it to have brunch. This is generally a more quiet spot a few blocks off the normal tourist walk. I’ve eaten here 8-10 times in the past couple months. Food can be really top notch or a “needs improvement” and no rhyme or reason for the inconsistency. Great menu, and the fries, I’m not sure what they do to them, are really top notch (always, unlike the mains). Service has been good normally, though when we’ve come on the tail end of normal lunch hour, seems break time impacts food...
