Good food , the owner is super nice .

Garbage! I don't know which was worse, the service or the food; both were pretty terrible. I would never recommend this place. The waitress was angry with us because she forgot what we ordered; she did that over and over to several people in our party. They were out of most items on the menu- good grief! Avoid this place.

I think with a little time this place can be a gem. I was happy to support a black owned business while in Philly. The staff was very friendly.

I ordered the turkey wing (served over rice), mac & cheese and yams. The food came fast, quick service. The turkey wing was okay, not great but not bad. I didn’t like the mac & cheese or rice at all. The yams were pretty good. I’m glad I gave this place a chance and hopefully my feedback will be useful in making improvements.

Wow is all can say!!! Let me say this before i begin, i grew up inNorth Jersey to an Italian family where food was everything. Moved to NYC where i lived for over 10 years. I have eaten all over the world and am a bit of a food snob. With that said This cozy restaurant has it all. It all begins with their sweet, kind, genuine, hard working front end supervisor, host and waiter Michael. Not only is he all those things but he has a southern accent. Raised in NC and lived in Texas. With him greeting you with a true smile and warm heart the experience begins. And it is just as good because all of the food is amazing! I have tried mainly everything and it all is so authentic, homemade, delicious hot fresh food. The meatloaf and mac and cheese wow. Their take on different egg rolls(southern style) so tasty. Their brisket outstanding. Went there with my better half always. Both happy campers.

Chicken was good everything was good some was cold but over all was good loved the atmosphere

Wish I could give a negative 1 star! Place was reserved for a birthday dinner. Let’s start with arriving the cook was in an apron smoking a cigarette. Food was cold! Was only given a handful of options on the menu to choose from. Some of the party ate while others had to get take out containers because it took so long. Be mindful it was only a party of 7.

Wow. Spend more time assuring your customers Have a great ecperience. Taste your food before serving or sending it out. God gave us two ears for a reason, to LISTEN. Besides, if the food was good when it left your kitchen and made it to my house, I wouldn't be commenting.I'd be licking my fingers. Wait...let me see what the trash can is saying. SMH. Such customer service.BLAND No Taste or Flavor.First and Last Time ordering. So Bad . I don't want my money back. Never been there. Ordered through Grub Hub. Wanted to try them from comments from others who enjoyed their food. Prices are great. But food was Horrible. Have to order PIZZA for dinner.

I got the order from grubhub.I was very pleased everything was fresh. It was a little blander then I like but nothing was greasy and it wasnt salty I like it spiced but not salted. It was very pleasant and worth the money Mike gave me excellent customer service on the phone. This was my first order I will absolutely order again. Thank you
